I was on roaccutane acne treatment over summer from June until roughly 2 weeks ago, and I used Nivea lip butter, worked incredibly well for dry lips in the hot and the cold, versatile product and I would definitely recommend it (either macadamia or blueberry)
Get a little vaseline tube for on the go and be happy, sorry it's not fancy and expensive and IG-worthy but works better than anything else. You're welcome.
@@ManForHimself, so? Where do you see the problem about paraffins for pharmaceutical use? It's the simplest way to lock in moisture through occlusion effect. You can of course, for reasons of ego, buy something with a brand name behind it if it suits your comfort, but most of the products you've mentioned do, speaking in simple terms, nothing else than using different kinds of oils, beeswax or anyting that make your lips feel much smoother after applying but therefore your lips become more dependend on the product and feel much dryer in their natural state. Then again, speaking of Tom Ford's lip balm for instance, quite hard to even get to know the ingredients list online but usually most of them have around twenty components, including perfume and, very popular, still, coconut oil, which is just proven to be not very beneficial for many skin types and there are other ingredients you could see as questionable. So ya, it might be fancy to tell the internet which brand of lip balm one is using, but you will get the best support with a gente scrub now and then and just using some (white) vaseline, especially on colder days. It is in fact much more 'natural' in terms of its function than any of the mentioned cosmetic products that are just designed to create a need for something one does simply not need to make a bit more money with yet another product. Considering your channel is about men's choices when it comes to appearance and grooming etc, I think that kind of thought is worth considering instead of just "What else do I need to buy to have it all together?"
@@Seph.ackerman Hey Sebastian. Valid points. It seems you have it all sorted. Hopefully I'll have a video that is more helpful for you soon. Thanks for the feedback.
@@ManForHimself Living in the Midwest where temperatures can reach below freezing for half the year, (with -50°F wind chill this week) most lip balms are only effective for me as a touch-up product. If it's sold in the UK, then Aquaphor would be by far the best product for protecting your lips, both against dry air and cold wind that blows in your face.
@@ManForHimself surprisingly, nothing too excessive, 2-3 layers of clothes and a warm jacket. The biggest issue was with hands, even though I wore gloves they became so dry that the skinned cracked! I started using Nivea Creme (the blue tin with lanolin alcohol and panthenol) and that solved it.
You may want to use some minoxidil on your patchy bit of beard on right side. I did it over 4-5 months and it’s been filled out ever since. Apply twice a day after shower :)
Robin James I had no hair there either and after 2 months I had light hairs there which turned dark after another few months. Maybe give it a try, at least youve got a superb head of hair ;)
I've yet to find a chapstick/lip balm that works for me. Even though vaseline sits heavy and makes your lips look shiny it's the only thing that keeps mine from drying out.
Love my Carmex. However, I want to try the Kiehl’s. Have you tried a lip scrub? Tarte makes a really great one in my opinion. Also, another inexpensive option is Aquaphor.
Robin James my skin changes its « status »... I notice that it needs moisture but my forehead always haves acnes and it’s been 4 years. Can you give me some tips??? Thanks a lot! 🌻
Best moisturizer for your hands? My hands get really dry from constantly wearing latex free gloves and washing my hands. Preferably one with little to no scent; any recommendations?
My bf has really dry and chapped lips his lips hurt all the time so I'm looking for a good product for him I will buy one of these products that u recommended hope it works
Hey Robin! Hope you had a great time in Paris (I'm really loooking forward to the new Street Styled). I was wondering what you think about mouth washes? I do not have bad breath or anything, but I was told very often that I should use one anyway. I know it does not exactly belong to skin care concerns, but if we are already at the topic of lips, mouths are really not far off :D Have a nice day/evening!
Hey what skin care do you use?? I have dry skin especially in the winter right now. Do you recommend curology? Do you recommend CeraVe? I need something that can get rid of acne and give clear glowing skin. I’m also going to get a Derma roller to help with hyperpigmentation and overall skin? Do you think this is good?
Hey. I have a few skin care videos but I can do a new, updated one, if you'd like to see? Lots of questions here... many that I can't yet answer. But let me try and find some answers.
Camphor and menthol are addictive ingredients in lip balms. When you reuse you are just exasperating the problem. Will be better to get something that doesn’t have mineral oil or any other derivative of petroleum.
Robin I've got this "thing" where my hair is naturally matte, even when wet it doesn't shine. It's dark brown, almost blonde in the sun. I had a friend who had the same thing, is hair was really matte but his was light blonde, almost grey so it looked okay. I tried tons of products over the years, wax, pomade, clay, you name it, water, no water, hairdryer, no hairdryer... no product makes my hair shiny. Just make my hair darker, which I like, but I always get a matte finish. What products would you recommend for this 'problem'? My hair isn't dry. It doesn't feel dry or greasy.
@@ManForHimself I thought you would have heard of it but i guess it's a greek product. Thank you for the reply. I will update on how it worked for me. Cheers!
I'm really liking the new direction of the channel. Mens style in general, not just hair
Thanks very much, Lucas.
This video was so much needed..
Thank you.
Skin care problem - dark circles/eye bags under the eyes - mostly genetic, I drink enough water, exercise, sleep 8+ hours already
I'll get onto these. Staple moments that I need to do!
Concealer!
Robin next video: how to get rid of dark circles under eyes!!!
Good idea!
Robin James Yeah I've been asking for some time now. Looking forward to the vid.
This is my aesthetic, though..haha

Cheers Matthew. I'm sure this will help other guys too.
I use Burt's Bees ... even tho they were bought out by Clorox.
Burt's! A classic.
I’m under an accutane treatment and Neutrogena Immediate Repair Lip Balm saved my live
Ah, this sounds good! Again, will look.

You can do, but it's pure petroleum.

Yes, I really liked the GlamGlow lip scrip. And DIY sugar scrubs are great. I need to try the Tarte one!
What product you use for healthy hair ??

Argan oil

It's going to be a goodie!
Have you tried Lùcido hair wax?
I just use petroleum jelly by Vaseline though.
Can we use labello
What would you recommend for styling a messy slick back on a long/fine hair?
A smoothing pre-styler and a clay to add texture! I have a vide like this.
Also I like Vaseline
Another great video bro but my lips dont get chapped they get herped
Pop in to see the doctor and they should be able to help.
