    Just a tip.....I always place a small torpedo level across the 6-32's sticking out before tightening the bracket for perfect level. If I'm off a hair and the light isn't straight from the street....well you know the rest! Great video Brian.

      Good idea, thanks ! But sometimes level isn't good it matters what looks good on the house. It's hard to explain but Like following brick etc.

    LED’s suck, great troubleshooting and glad to see you using twist on’s I’ve used wago’s three times and twice I had to go back because wire falling out. They’re great where there’s plenty of room but in a tight box they suck. Great vid 👍👍

    They are Cubs fans. That is why the lights don't work. If they were Sox fans, they would be fine. Lol. Love the videos. Keep up the good work.

    Glad it wasnt an issue on the brick that would have been fun to fish. No pigtail and jam the joint into the back? Just suggestions for thoes very cold fingers 😆. I wish I could tell the customer no fixing just replace it. Better yet if one builder grade product is dying replace them all. Oh well good money thanks

    I might have checked the old light one more time after re-doing the splices to be sure. And use some Wago's for that.

    Company I worked for before I retired working from them for 4 years they own over 10 thousand homes in the Phoenix AZ Valley. We had 23 technicians HVAC certified. The make ready teams were told to install LED light fixtures that would fail within 6 months. Us technicians all agreed to replace them with incandescent light fixtures. It reduced our service calls.

      I believe it and just had a call today with leds took the bulb out and put a incandescent in and it worked. Crazy stuff!!

      @oldfredbear 14 годин тому +1

      I guarantee that had more to do with the cheap fixture than the fact that it was LED.

    What I have learned about property managers and rental property owners is they don't care what something looks like as long as it works, it doesn't have to match or even look good for that matter🙄

    Obviously you know what you're doing but I have a better method capping stranded with solid. Strip your stranded wire long. Then twist the stranded tip wire. Then fold the stranded stripped wire in half. When you go to cap the two wires together. Put the stranded wire slightly passed the solid. When you twist the cap on the stranded will twist in an then the soldi wire will twist in behind it, locking it in. By folding it you basically create more for the cap to grab into. This method will lock in the stranded wire solid. I've installed hundreds of light fixtures before developing this method.

      I don't like folding wire , but I'm sure it will work as long as ur getting a connection. But I see your thinking forsure
