I'm so glad you did this bag. This is a good example of a bag designed with customer feedback from previous designs in mind.
Kind of funny watching the reviewer, as he is obviously not a business traveler. This bag is designed specifically for 1-3 day business trips, so a lot of the features are for business people. For example, the card slots are for business cards, not an Amex. Those 'odd' slash pockets in the laptop compartment are for files. The non-mesh side pocket is for a laptop charger. The top pocket is for headphones or a paperback, and is on top so you can easily access it while in a cramped airline seat.
I've been using this bag for a few years now. Not much travel in 2020, but before that i was on the road 3-4 time a month. Works great. My only complaint is that it is BIG. When full of clothes it extends out, and is questionable to bring into business meeting. I often pack a laptop sleeve with pocket for charger, HDMI dongle, etc. Works great.
this was my daily driver...and still is depending on where i travel. good bag. too bad i think its discontinued. eBags Pro Slim Jr Laptop i think now replaced it
