GOD EATER 2 - Long Blade All Blood Arts

- All IV Blood Arts for Long Sword.
Keep in mind that a Vajra's head is weak to crush, Tail is weak to slash and its torso is weak to pierce.
Take this into account when determining the attack power of a skill.
All other ATK elements for respective body parts are resisted.
Air Attacks are focued on the tail purely for ease of demonstration purpose.
If a Blood Art doesn't have any auxiliary effects listed on the side, it typically focuses more on dealing higher than average base damage.
All Blood Arts are demonstrated with a Stock R15 "Reinforced" Weapon as well as default R1 Gun & Shield.
That's all. The video is pretty self explanatory otherwise.

Lamont Ervin Technically Burst Arts are basically downgraded Blood Arts, but you can do more than one and combo them.
@@personagrand5674 how are they downgrades exactly? They boost your damage just as much as blood arts and like you said you can bring more than one.
@@erica8952 burst arts don't work unless you are in burst, with the upside being the higher your burst level, the stronger your burst arts are, of course certain enemies will steal your burst
We'll probably have both in the GE3 expansion, if we meet GE2's protagonist.

The reinforced Long Sword. It uses a crystal from Crimson Orochi, so You at least need to be able to beat him.
if you always attack melee, I would consider changing weapon. Long Blade doesn't have very exciting Blood Arts for head-on.
But if i had to pick I'd go with Tornado Rush or Rising Dragon.

BK Brent YOU USE A BUSTER BLADE?!? Damn, it was my first favourite in GEB, but it’s slow rate of movement made me vulnerable to hits and incapacitations. So I prefer the long or short blade. Mainly the short blade in GEB.

Doesn't using Falling Petal, Galestrike or Roaring Sunder makes you unable to perform the infinite combo "trick" with the Zero Stance? Are these Blood Arts any worth considering this?
C a l l halcyon blade if you build around it is near infinite combo
You can't infinite combo with them, but they deal significantly more damage if you can land them consistently. Goes double for Galestrike and Roaring Sunder as they ignore defense during Blood Rage.
It's more of a trade between flexible, fluid combo for power really.
With falling petal u can flinchlock hannibal family to death, i did that. Falling petal is Black Blood art in disguise if u can consistenly hit the weakpoint.

No predator styles and only one Blood Art can be equipped at once
no.. Predator style is GER exclusive.. tho GE3 has a nerfed version in form of aerial devour

if I said my current favorite blood art out of all of the weapons I currently use was Crashing Wave Cut, would that make me weird? I never hear about anyone using it, but it saved my rear end against crimson orochi XD

Man, GEB had been a lot harder, maybe. Seeing all this new stuff.....I haven’t played GE2 yet, but we didn’t have all these fancy blood arts in GEB. I remember chaining like 40 attacks at once using a short blade, dodge, and double jumps. Ah, the good ol’ days.

CAT Syahmi The first game was extremely fun, and it still is. However, if you started with this one, you may find the first a bit harder without the blood arts and having less weapons.
or just play the remake of the first game - God Eater Resurrection, included in GE2:Rage Burst if he redeemed it

I never tried a long sword before because i main boost hammer, now can someone recommend me the strongest blood art? well i am good at blocking attacks and i know when they will attack so basically my tactic is to engage the aragami first then time my blocking then retreat then attack it again, so can someone tell me whats the best blood art for me based on my tactic.
halcyon blade for long sword is overpowered if you want to basically, what's the word... "stack attack power" using it and all out attack skill and other attack boosters, make no mistake you can chain a combo as long as you have stamina with it and build attack power but bosses will punish you if you stop the combo in their face cause of stamina loss or just fucked the combo up cause of wrong buttons

It's the strongest Long Blade Blood Art, yes.
But if you're looking at Strongest Blood Art, i think this one is actually one of the weakest out of all the Black Blood Arts on respective weapons in the game.
This is considering it takes about as long to activate as a Buster Charge Crush and it's difficult to be accurate with it. On top of everything it's damage is mediocre in comparison to other Black Arts

+BK Brent black blood arts aren't even worth using sometimes. They are all or nothing moves, and sometimes lacked the balance and utility that other blood arts have. The most useable for me was infernal vortex, but that had its own risks.
@Bk Brent well how was the guy dealing such massive damage. he was literally hitting 99999 damage...? I don't think the move is that special but this move is consistent with most mechanics and it isn't to difficult to pull off
That's not difficult to do with a Black Blood Art if you have all ATK skills, Burst 3, Hidden Attack, +30 weapon and score a direct hit on an Aragami weakpoint.

Hey, can someone help me? I'm playing GE2, yes, the japanese one. I have just recently unlocked mark 0 and it won't let me produce an impulse edge while in a battle. It just gives me a "staggering" animation. Here's my equipment if you need it

I like the blood art system but also hate it at the same time. As it feels like whichever blood art you equip is the same move you will be spamming during hunts.
Would have bean better if they made the blood arts slightly less powerful but let you equip 2-3 at the same time so you can fully customize your play-stile.
Or like made them even more powerful but have them use a special resource not just be spam-able all the time.

I think "Vampiric Blade" is best. Cause with this art we are using less potions becouse also this art giving extra healing. With this advantage, we are better against hard battles imo :)
It isn't. Calibers are the best. Especially the Arc Caliber. It makes your sword long range. You can still deal damage in a distance. Plus if you're using a B/F/SP/D type of sword with Arc Caliber, the damage you do long range is close to the damage you do close range. It also kinda words as a double-damage when fighting close range. You can see the whole body of aragami when you're shooting arc caliber long range meaning it's a lot easier to predict aragami attacks giving you more chance to react. And you can always "play it safe" using arc caliber.

Vampiric blade is pretty much redundant if you already have melee HP absorb and HP Regen already

tui sakata I'm playing the GE2 japanese cuz I only have PSP. If you're also using PSP, go to that rank 10 hard in the second mission category or the hard missions, select the ouroboros mission there and just spam the Gold Blood Art above Rising Dragon

Gelson Duarte You can unlock them at certain storyline and the way to level it up was to often using it the correct way.
No it is not. Blood arts just pamper a really bad sequel gameplay wise. And predator styles are vastly superior simply because it grants infinite gun usage. Seeing as melee is fucking worthless in end game because the devs don't understand the definition of balance. Look at fucking crimson orochi. Great idea. Shit execution. Something with that speed should not be able to 1-2 shot no matter what. Not only that but it's health bar is fucking disgusting huge and not in a good way. And how most of it's attacks hit your health directly even when you block.... Such a waste of an epic looking enemy.

R1+Square, the stance you take when you blast enemies with the long blade.
+1RicoPin1 Some people use to chain attacks as soon as the the combo finish (it's faster than simply waiting it out). Entering Zero Stance is kinda mandatory to use Impulse Edge (firing while in melee mode).
Rinkuki Takato zero stance is essentially you canceling your current combo string and startimg a new one, halcyon blade makes zero stance a God move

all these fancy attacks aint shit on the field, you will be to busy hit and run away with that fast speeding wheel attack, the fastest one. Monsters cant handle the wheel attack going crazy fast, i be cut cutting down monsters like they aint shit
