the company yards are so expensive, not enough mod for hands on the steering wheel. With markets tumbling, inflation soaring, the Fed imposing large interest-rate hike, while treasury yields are rising rapidly-which means more red ink for portfolios this quarter. How can I profit from the current volatile market, l'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $400k bond/stock portfolio.
That’s right, Markt slumps are one of the worst times to withdraw your moneey from the maket. hence i advise getting the guidance of an expert to make this downturn count.

oh you need insight on american trucking? well then.. ok so always pass the truck next to you going 0.0001mph faster than him. make sure you drive side by side blocking the lane while you pass him for at least 10 miles. if a hill comes and he pulls ahead, just stay in the lane blocking it, you will catch up to pass him again down the road again!
always cut off the cars when you need to merge. blinkers mean im turning/merging, im not asking, im telling you. you are bigger.
always speed. 10 -15mph over whatever posted limit is perfectly fine for trucks and cars. sometimes more.
downhill, always hammer it see if you can hit 90mph. pass everything and then stall to a crawl next rolling hill. but dont forget, hammer down on every downhill.
dont forget to always have at least 10 broken things on your truck at any time so DOT can ticket you for it but its their fault since they decided to inspect you..... you aint got time to change that light bulb. isnt your truck anyway. you are a company driver. you dont care.
and most importantly, drive over every dirt patch you can. embed those little stones in the tires best you can and fling them into people's windshields and paint down the road. it is their fault they got near you! how dare they! dont they know, they need to stay 1 mile away from you! bonus points if you hauled some stinky leaking load and liquid is oozing from your dryvan/reefer through bad door seals spraying the traffic behind you. extra points if it's meat juices! yumm!

ok. more serious things. speeding is actually very common and normal. so yeah speed limits are arbitrary in general. 10-15 over is fine as i said.
retarder is hardly used anymore. jbrakes are only by the old boomers in petes but are usually banned due to noise restrictions. its downshifting and normal brake riding. company trucks are discarded every 2 years so company drivers, especially for the big ones, run the equipment hard with absolutely no regard.
depending on state, you must never be in the left lane or 2 left lanes, not even to pass. highly enforced in some states.
you need to keep lots more distance between the cars in front of you. very normal to tailgate other trucks going down the road tho (closing the gap). they do it so fewer cars are inclined to squeeze between 2 trucks.
engines arent actually shut off.. like literally never. game is still stuck in euro mode forcing you to shut off engine for many things. engine idles whenever the truck is on the job, including while you sleep (you sleep with windows closed, doors locked, hvac on. due to noise, safety and comfort). APUs are actually noisier and many dont want them so idling is still the norm and will be. california tried to enforce anti idling regulations but they somewhat gave up. too much backlash after they sent people to truck stops to try and enforce that...
but right, i mean pretty real. considering the game itself isnt actually that real to begin with! a lot of the core mechanics are a complete joke (weight stations, resting, maintenance, penalties, enforcement, etc)
I have the mod but everytime i put it in the game it crashes any advice on how to make it work

Hey, do you tweak your graphics card settings or use any additional graphic modifications? I'm asking because I installed PNG, but my picture quality is not even half as good as yours, even though I have all the settings set to ultra.
What's your resolution? I'm running on 1440p, that might make things sharper, also 400% scaling helps a lot.
I own ats and played a bit have a great exp overall but man I can't I just miss ets maybe the ammount of mods I have maybe my "comoany" and more important I have no idea who are the equivalents to moders like Kast or Eugene 😅
Yeah, ETS2 definitely has a more active modding community. ATS also has a lot of paid mods, which isn't ideal.

in my opinion, it’s a shame that the company yards are so expensive, when in flight sim you can get entire airports are the same price. in my opinion, big company yards should be what SCS does… in my opinion, the lack of competition means SCS has no real incentive to innovate and make significant improvements to the game. It's in the Freightliner dealership, also if you go to "truck dealers" in the menu, there is a "access mod dealer", which lists every truck mod you have active.
