If he opened the gym to have a place to film then he should put a limit on the amount of members he's got. I signed up for that gym the day after the opening and it was impossible to get a workout in most of the day so I ended up canceling my membership. The gym is not bad but crowded as hell.
I believe at one point he definitely used steroids. But the purpose of steroids is to get you to your genetic potential much quicker, so he may have used them for a long enough period of time to reach his genetic potential, and possibly has not used them since.

If I work hard in the gym for 1 year, clean, and then I go on gear for 6 months, I am still only going to achieve what my genetics allow. The same goes for you and anyone else.
