Note you can also try and add the audio file to the video files at the time of multicam clip creation and if it doesn't work or you have multiple external audio clips you can use what I teach in this video.
Been searching for how to get multiple audio from multiple sources for multicam and this video is the only ive seen that is clear, thank you so much! ❤
You can, I should have included that at the end, for some reason I was thinking about people adding external audio after the multicam clip has been created.
Hi Jason. Many thanks for a well explained instructional video. what if the two cameras you have used are producing more than one clip? this may happen for example when you shoot a long intereview and the cameras you have are producing few clips because of architectural limit. for example - my Sony is able to produce 30 minutes clips when I shoot 4K and my other camera (DJI ) is producing 6 minutes clip. How can you hande this state?
Could you please help how to “unpack” all the audio tracks from that one we created during doing a multicam? Because if I do an aaf from that milticam sequence, it only exports one channel

Thanks Calum - I try! :) :)
Very nice explanation, thank you!
Thankyou :) :)
Pretty sure can include your external recorder audio when initially creating the multicam clip so you don’t have to add it as a second step.

That is a limitation of that particular approach I'm afraid.
@@JasonRobertsVideo so it’s impossible?
This video might help explain: ua-cam.com/video/wN4fIjtTFmE/v-deo.html
@@JasonRobertsVideo Thank you! but sadly the video doesn't have the answer. Will continue to fight for the solution :)
No worries :) :) There are some improvements that could be made to multicam - maybe in a future update!
