Old Compressor Restoration - Part 1

In this video I picked up a electric air compressor for my sandblaster but it needed some attention to make it safer, so i go thru a complete disassembly, cleaning and painting in this video.

It looks like someone brazed it on the bottom. I'd be careful; who knows how much rust is inside of that tank and how thin the walls are. I'd at least have it hydro-tested at 150% or 200% or its working pressure. When these things blow up, they do major damage.

Morrow, you are correct it was brazed by someone, i did have it checked to 150lbs after the video was made. thank you!
