@myvegankitchenlife ok..I made the vegan Shepherds pie instead of the carrot dogs..it was Amazing!! I actually like it better than meat based Shepherds pie! I'll make the carrot hot dogs and marinate tonite..I want to try the oyster mushroom made.like fried chicken too, and the chickpea curry..and practically everything else..but that Shepherds pie was sooo good!!!..I didn't have the Korean BBQ sauce..is it bul go gi?..I'm going to let my daughter have some..she's been vegan for 12 years..I bet she'll love this :)
Hi Michelle. Was that parchment paper that the Korean sweet potatoes were wrapped and roasted in? Also, how long did you roast them for and at what temperature?
Hey 👋🏽 Lentils are pretty easy to find and purchase. Any brand works however they come in brown and green you can do either one once cooked they kind of look the same. Here’s the brand of Korean bbq sauce it seems to be the only one I’ve found that’s vegan Chung Jung One Korean BBQ Bulgogi Sauce
@myvegankitchenlife I was thinking if I crushed them/pureed and added just a tad of cornstarch, could I get the same effect 🤔. I've been meat free since covid and always looking for new recipes, but I don't want to defeat my healthy eating with too much processed food. Love your recipes I'm a new follower and cannot wait to try oyster mushrooms/chicken 🤗🤗🤗

They look like green lentils 😊 Brown lentils would be dark brown. Red lentils would be bright orange. In another comment, the cook mentions that you can use brown or green lentils. You probably shouldn't use red lentils because they cook to a mushy texture, which wouldn't be right for this recipe.

Yes that was parchment paper. I roasted the sweet potatoes for about 45 minutes to an hour at 400 degrees
Can't find Korean potatoes, should I use reg. Sweet potatoes or russett potatoes
