In season 3 JD Mccoy had the better skills but Matt had the better leadership. JD is a rich boy who gets everything handed to him from his dad but Matt is a tough kid who has had to take care of himself and grandma at a young age. The way he led the Panthers to state after Jason got hurt makes him the GOAT. Matt Saracen has made me a better man
@@josh77star no he was really chill all season I hated him because he took saracens spot but his dad was nuts not him and I wouldn’t say yelling in the locker room once makes him a cancer, his dad just beat the shit out of him and his parents were likely separating as well as he basically choked the state championship and it wasn’t like he pulled a vodoo stint it wasn’t as bad
The last game always gave me goosebumps cause Saracen knew that this was his last game ever in Pads he knew he wasn’t playing college ball so he knew he could go out there with nothing to lose and nothing to prove just to go out there try and get his team the win and he got to play the game and position he loved one last time
