I watched someone play thi character and it pretty much confirmed my choice to pick up a fighting game other than smash brothers. Cant wait until this game releases on the switch

In case anyone is wondering, the easy way to dashblock is dash forward by pressing A + B and forward, then tapping down left.
Really fun character, even more fun in C LR.
The reason people won tournaments with him is because there shoto players in Street Fighter and he operates in a similar fashion meaning they could pick him up faster for high level play and employ all of the winning shoto tactics and tricks.

How so? He has no charge moves.
No. He's Ryu. If he were Urien he'd have a headbutt, tackle, knee drop, and Aegis Reflector.
@@vulcan422 He has aegis reflector and did you see his projectile? The exact same.
@@sebastianfernandez6146 When it comes to comparison, the function and mechanics of a move are more important than the aesthetics. Akatsuki's projectile resembles Urien's, true, but it's more mechanically similar to Ryu's. Despite the name, Akatsuki's Reflector is more similar to SF5 Ryu's V-Skill, Mind's Eye, being a parry performed with a single command. Factoring in Vulcan422's comment, we can reliably conclude that Akatsuki is similar to Ryu, and not Urien.
