- This latest December 2024 "B" release Patch Tuesday security update for Windows 11 24H2 addresses 45 security vulnerabilities, 9 Critical. The update also includes Start menu jump lists improvements, the system tray shows a shortened date and time, the notification bell icon might not show if you have set the toggle for “Do not disturb” to on, Task Manager UI improvements, you can share content to an Android device from the context menu, Dynamic Lighting Settings page improvements, Accessibility improvements, if you hold Shift and CTRL and click a jump list item, this opens the item as an admin and includes plenty more. There are also fixes for DISM, PowerShell, Windows Update, Clipboard, fixes bugs and more. The update pushes version 24H2 to Build 26100.2605.

I got this Windows 11 24H2 update this afternoon, so far no major issues with either of my two computers.
After KB5048667 i can not move toggle '''Show mobile device in File Explorer' it's going back immediatly.

Hello, I have a problem. I cannot communicate with the copilot program in Windows 11 h24 via voice commands. Can this problem be solved? It used to work with Windows 11 version h23.
I have this update but I don't see any of the new features you are talking about. Do you know is the jump list will contain recent files of word, excel etc pinned on the start menu. I wonder is Microsoft will add or return the permanently delete icon on the file explorer. I am still using explorer patcher.
can you tell me why windows 11 randomly resets desktop background.. it has nothing to do with slideshow I have done some troubleshooting and can't find a solution. The image I am using is a JPG and no other type. Thank you

In some builds I am not able to open windows defender security center. Does somebody know how to fix it?

Randomly, my keyboard does not work. I have to restart my laptop then it starts working. 24h2 should resolve this problem.
The 3 dot menu and full screen explorer ribbon bug is still there, but others are fine
I have notification about Windows 24H2 update on Acer Nitro 5. Should I install it, or wait? Is it stable now?
This update download became stuck, at 5%, despite my device being hardwired by ethernet cable to the router. I had to use Command Prompt sfc/ scannow to fix it.
There also appears to have been another update this morning for windows called a configuration update. I see it under OTHER. no idea what it is.
That was introduced with Moment 5. I have noticed that the date changes for that update everyday.

Microsoft is blocking my Windows updates as I did not purchase their 365 Program which I do not neet. I don't understand why they would do this. I have a relatily new Microsoft laptop and they are blocking my bedsites and making browing difficult. This is a night more. Please help. Unable to reach Microsoft. Why are they or a staff of theirs doing this to me.
Got stuck at 81% installed for over half an hour
My wish for 2025 is to have my Dynamick Lock turned OFF!! No matter what I do it still locks my screen after 30 seconds or so; it is driving me insane. I just updated the Windows 11 24H2, btw. TIA :)

My point of pain is that this is my development machine, and it contains a lot of very esoteric utilities. Replacing/reinstalling those make me feel a bit green.
Maybe I will go duel-boot.
Run Windows 11 repair commands in CMD
