Hey! thanks for watching! My name is Mitch and I live in Central South Carolina. I started off mainly talking about weather specifically for South Carolina but have now expanded to the entire US. I am not a Meteorologist, I am just a guy that is passionate about weather, and that loves sharing what I know with others! I also love chasing extreme weather. I have a playlist on my channel with numerous chase videos.

Ethereal. Once my dad called me about seeing this phenomenon in the sky. He was in Texas, I was in Minnesota. I was in tears with excitement because we could both see them 1300 miles apart💝😊
This really touched me and made me miss my Dad. Thank you.
That's an awsome story!😊🌌✝️🌌
I hope I can some more tonight in East Tennessee
Mitch that was the Holy Spirit i believe showing us Gods glory
I couldn't see the Northern lights cause of clouds. Thank you for the great photos. 🙏❤️
Same. I was bummed
Those Northern Lights pictures are breathtaking! What an amazing catch 🙏🏽
Thanks, Mitch! I’m very surprised I got to see the northern lights to, and It’s sounds like we’ll get to see them again tonight as well. Also, we need to be talking about this summer as well because it could be worse than last year’s summer due to potentially strong hurricanes and as well as severe weather lasting longer than normal. This also may be the first or next hottest summer on record as well.
Brokenhearted we were locked in by clouds! Had wanted to see the northern lights all my life. In central VA.
Hopefully you will see tonight and according to SWPC we will have more in the months to come😊
Me too!
Great update Mitch. People...If Mitch can take the time and effort to research & give an accurate analysis on our weather, and you can take the time to watch it, please take an extra second or two to like it...for him. It really helps to get his updates out to more people on UA-cam. The more likes per views, the more UA-cam automatically shares it with others.
Thank you!
It was cloudy here. Northern Ontario sees them relatively often but me like you likes going to bed.
That was a (G5) Storm: First Time Since 2003. I did not find out until this morning but I will be looking at the sky tonight. Kp-index is supposed to stay at a nine tonight as well. We still have 4 more separate solar impacts coming and the sun erupted again last night and was the biggest flare of all 7 so it isn't over yet.
You watch suspicious observer also.👍
Any idea about what time? We started seeing people's pictures on Facebook, but by then it was 1130. Looked until 2am but nothing showed up.
Good morning Mitch and your followers. This is a beautiful day The Lord has made, lift up a HALLELUJAH and Praise His Holy Name! What beautiful photos of God’s Living Art from last night! Thank you for sharing! Thank You Jesus for your Love! ✝️💟✝️🙏
Good Saturday morning Mitch.Have a blessed day!😊
Good morning and God Bless us here from Michigan
So happy that you were able to enjoy God’s artwork ❤️❤️God Bless everyone❤️❤️
@@jimwynn6421why? Or are you just being a Richard Cranium?
Awesome to see, Mitch, I wasn't able to see the northern lights as unfortunately, I'm a little sick and congrats on you becoming a deacon at your church! Also, thanks to your weather forecast all the time! Have a great Saturday, man
🙏 for your health. In Jesus name.
@@duckyday1099 Thank you so much, appreciate it, God bless you, God’s always good 🤟
Thank you! Hope you're feeling better!
@@MitchWestWeather I am, man! A whole lot better, thank you so much, it sucks being sick but I’m almost at 100 percent, just a little bit of a cough and stuffiness
Good morning all! Sunny and cool this morning here in NW IN. Glad you got to see the northern lights. We weren’t able to see them, too cloudy. Have a joyful Saturday.
WOW! Last night was amazing!!!Thank you for sharing your pics, my phone couldn't capture it, here in southern Vermont mostly greens, blues and some pinks , I did feel a bit weird and dizzy!Enjoy this beautiful Saturday!
Thank you for keeping us updated
Mitch, I appreciate you reporting all of the weather! God can take something tragic and turn it into a blessing. I look at the damage from the tornados, but look at the blessings of humanity coming together to help each other! I am reading of stories where there are people arriving from other areas to Len a hand and help those who lost so much! This is what Jesus looks like! People helping people and showing the love of Christ! We need to focus on prayer and lending a hand in you have the opportunity to help. I am praying for all. 🙏✝️🙏
🙏🏾praying in the name of ✝Jesus Christ/Yeshua Ha Mashiach✝ Beautiful statement!
Good morning. Happy you got to see NL's. Here in my part of MiddleTN I was not able to see those magnificent colors. Only a dull very dark pink. Maybe tonight. Thank you for your dedication to bring us all the going to and possibilities of the coming days weather. Praying for those still dealing with the losses from storms. Hope you are blessed to take your ladies to see the lights tonight. Through pillows and blanket in car and go. Blessings all. And have a great day.
Good morning Mitch and believers. Thank you for the northern lights photo and your personal story. Incredible applies to both. It's wild that you have a Lake Murray too. It's one of my favorite local destinations. In San Diego it will be a sunny 67, kind of the same report and we're blessed and spoiled babies. "Gnarly"? You're speaking Californiaese now? Ha ha Thank you for your dedication to weather and to us. God bless your family and all here.
Yes… “Weather Wimps” in Southern California. It’s one of the most beautiful locations in the United States. It will always be home, even when living away.
Thanks for the update, Mitch. We saw some great Northern lights here in Northern Maine last night. It’s was the some of the best I’ve ever seen. We’re lucky it was mostly clear last night. They stretched across all of the northern half of the sky.
Power was out here in Louisiana all night after the storms. I ran off my solar batteries and didn`t need gas.
Very beautiful. God can create such beauty!
Thank you dear Mitch. Prayers lifted up. Asking for prayers for safety, health and calm please. Special prayers for safety for Joe please. Thank you.
Thanks for the excellent update. Per the Northern lights, our son in Fort Smith sent us pics very similar to yours. The deep pink hue is very interesting. Persons in Alaska might possibly reort differently but, when I was stationed at Elmendorf back in the early 90s, sightings of Northern lights were frequent, but the colors were much different in terms of the spectrum. As I recall it from back then, there were lots of green and blue and white hues, pinks not so much. The pink thing was really cool! Keep up the good work!
The "dashes" you caught was Starlink!!!
Good morning from the central UP. We had thin clouds last night and could see a glow. Supposed to be clear tonight maybe. I remember back 30 or so years ago we had the whole sky full!
That emotion is awe.
I have a space weather app… I kinda follow. A fun tip. The hemispheres are flipped on the sun, so west is east, and so on.
Mornin' Mitch! Lot's of pics outa OK of that lovely plasma in the sky last night. Sadly, I was too darn tired and just went to bed. Moving goats and gardening wore my hinny out. lol
They said on the news to use your phone camera point it to the sky it can see better than your eyes! The magenta or pinkish is amazing colours with the green! If you can take your princesses out to see this would be amazing!! This is a top level G5 event with the last one in sept ,oct. 2003. I looked at the space weather prediction center and I never heard this it was called the great Carrington event in 1859 where the greatest storm in recent history the Aurora covered nearly the entire planet! The article said we are ramping up with solar maximum into 2025 so expect more solar flares and Auroras in the months to come! Not be a Debbie downer but we can have communication, satellite issues,or power grid interruptions. But what a beautiful displays Mitch of what's yet to come! God bless you,the family and all our weather fans, sorry this is a book now😲🌎🎛🌌✝️🌌🐈
Beautiful photo of the aurora borealis. Your description and the awe in your voice brought tears to my eyes. I fell asleep and missed it in northern KY. Thank you for sharing this wonderful sign of God's greatness. May He continue to bless you and your lovely family.
It truly was something special!
🌞🙏❤️
58 and sunny right now in the EUP, saw a little of the Auroras last night before the clouds rolled in. Have a good day everyone
Thanks!

@@MitchWestWeather yes, Mitch, I joined ☀️
I live in upstate SC where the lights were supposed to be visible and pics were being posted from all around me but I swear,- I saw nothing and I did go out between 10pm and 2am-- never saw anything but black sky and stars, so minimal clouds. Have no idea what was obstructing the view.
Good morning Mitch it’s been a while. Hopefully everything has been going just as awesome as before. I had a question for you. But is there a reason why the East coast specifically the New England area has been a chilly spring this year? What I’ve experienced so far is a couple days warm then the next 4 cold or below average
lot of smaller left over systems just keeping cloudy days more frequent maybe.
@@MitchWestWeather thank you Mitch I was thinking more along the lines of maybe we’re in a trough in the east allowing colder air to funnel down into the east coast
Our sky was my favorite color last night, here in Texas... I asked, on Fakebook, if people were going to party like it's 1999? Some got it, some didn't.
Mitch, here in Saint Louis Mo, the Mississippi went from 1/4 mile wide to 1/2 mile wide easy. You need video? Let me know. I have some.
I believe there is Spiritual significance to the Northern lights you witnessed last night. This may explain the emotions that you experienced Mitch.
👍Excellent presentation, Mitch! Thanks for your commitment to all of us.👍 ✝GOD bless you, the family, and all the brothers and sisters everywhere in the name of ✝Jesus Christ/Yeshua Ha Mashiach✝
EDIT (I was watching a CARROT VIDEO and noticed the comments under it had glitched and were for THIS video!) Can I force my Paris Market tubers from this spring to make seeds before fall to have plenty for fall/winter/spring? I can`t afford the prices of seeds for "special" carrots and they`re the easiest/fastest ones to grow. I`m saving all the tubers for seeds. Can I put a pot in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks and trigger bolting?
Is this rain going around the"hole" Wichita ks again??

👍🏻
Will the northern lights be visible Sunday night into Monday?
Mitch, I'm here in Western Nova Scotia and trying to plan a major camping expedition. My partner has to choose between this coming weekend the 17th-20th or the following last weekend of May
Preferably, we are looking for high pressure to dominate.
Could you prepare a 5-14 day look ahead in one of your upcoming videos.
Thanks!!!!!!
Hey buddy, next weekend looks just to far out to figure out. This weekend looks ok til about the 19th where you could get a system.
@@MitchWestWeather I'm going in this Thursday till Monday the 20th
I see that Offshore Low forming south of Cape Cod on Saturday and slowly working its was up just off the Nova Scotia coast on Sunday the 19th yup.
By Sunday I'll be ready for whatever it brings.
I like what I see I will be about 40 km inland, south of Digby
Offshore Low is my main concern between now and Thurs. Departure
If the Low moves more to the North I could end up with another 50-100mm washout, been there, done that!
@@MitchWestWeather Well Mitch, all the models but the ICON today started showing some pretty powerful Rain cells Saturday night over my neck of the woods so unless things improve in tomorrow 0600z forecast, I'm gonna wait till that Low and its high Precipitable Water moves East on Sunday
Let come to Jesus!
Repent ask for forgiveness.
We will see even more than this, and unfortunately the rest of the things to come will not be as pleasant as this.
Acts 2:19 NIV
[19] I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
It's just a matter of time before the climate clowns start blaming the current solar events on climate change.
