While it might make the dogs happy, the dogs also deserve to be loved and not used to hunt rats everyday. While this may have been useful in the 1800s because that is what they were used for back than, now people have discovered new ways to hunt for rats if that is something they take pleasure in! And just sayin grow all of you saying that the dogs would be useless for this and the guy could have easily done all of that, he couldn’t. These dogs were originally bred for hunting for mice hence why their snouts are the way they are and do you really think that this dude has the same sense of smell to be able to find mice?? And keep in mind these dogs were bred for that back when people had to eat mice. So there’s really no reason for people to be using these dogs to hunt for mice now.

Yeah they're both brilliant ratters so are borders and it's always useful to have a lurcher or whippet cross if any escape from the terriers.
