Excactly! UA-cam is my main platform for entertainment (other than EuroLeague TV, but you know about that already, don't you, Monica) and I've stumbled across many creators who share their experience of life in different countries. To me, it seems like everything follows the same pattern: be kind to others, have a lot of respect but don't forget YOURSELF. Perhaps nowadays society is so focused on capitalism and living a social media bubble that we forget where we come from and what truly makes us happy. That we forget or brush aside the sincerity that 99,9% of us have that makes us human.
When my life goes down that negative route, I've managed to reset myself in the way that when I spend time with my son or wife I actually spend time with them. And my god does it make me feel like the happiest man alive! And it actually makes me feel alive too, if it makes sense. No phones, no distractions, just pure interaction and sharing moments with the people you love. I don't really love snow plows, but my son would watch one do work for hours on end. I once sat with him for two hours on top of a snow pile to watch the plow plow yet I wasn't bored for a second because I felt like we created a happy deep memory for the both of us. And what did it take? Time, just time, nothing else.
I watched your ELPA video a couple of months back or so and remember how you said that in 5 years time you want to have a family. I hope that whenever you become a family man, you instill your character into your kid(s) because I think the world needs more Chima's.
