Setting installed height accurately and measuring spring force with the valve open and closed

In this video I describe the process of installing valve springs to the correct installed height and then measuring the spring force with the valve open and closed.

The spring installed height spec is too generic as they apply it to a range of camshafts with different lifts. IMO, you need to determine your own installed height based on closed and open force in conjunction with distance to coil bind.
