- I absolutely cranked the Vox to maximum volume! Master at 10 and Top Boost at 10 gives us some great Beatles tones from the White Album, Let it Be, Abbey Road, and more.
Great concept for a video and brilliant demonstration of the amp’s range. Nice work!
Absolutely smashed it! So thorough! I want to copy you so I've saved it to my watch later.
Great playing. I love the old Beatles' songs. I can play a few of those.
Awesome vid! Probably my favorite ac 15 video I've seen.
Very nice video, great playing!
Brilliant tones and playing 👍
Great job. Inspired now to get back to some Beatles learnin'

This amp is exactly what I’m looking for. It’s so dynamic.
Damn, nice job! Thanks for doing this
I agree, great playing!
Very good Performance
Wow! What a lesson this was! You nailed it.
Thank you so much! I'm going to be making a lot more videos about Beatles songs, riffs, and solos soon (I haven't posted in a while because of ¢oρyrìght issues).
Jon Salama Music : Subscribed! By the way, I don’t see how anyone would have a problem with you doing this. It’s just pieces of the songs, and anyone could see that this is an educational video!
great sounding guitar !
Man that sounded absolutely huge when you dimed it. Crazy tone. I've only cranked mine once, and it was insanely loud.
Jordan Graf Thanks! Yeah it was some massive tone. It’s a smaller amp but it can be an absolute unit when cranked
*Cough* Attenuators *Cough*
I've had one for a couple of years and never cranked it because neighbors are bitches
Excellent
Awesome 👍
Man you're tone on taxman was awesome!
Helter Skelter's such a gnarly riff. Raw af.
I have one of these amps and they're absolutely phenomenal. The master volume is a handy feature but they really do sound better cranked
hell yeah thanks man
Badass man
Underrated vid
Jonathan Ross ok
Nice!
Yeah, great!
good!!!
brillant

Great vid. Which AC15 model is this?
sick trill on i feel fine.... they shoulda had that
Nice job!
I’VE GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!
Ciao, bravo! una domanda: in Day tripper si sente il suono vibrare un po ma nel settaggio l'ampli ha il tremolo a 0...e' una mia sensazione? ciao Lele
Have you tried to Max all the volumes on the amp and roll back the volume on guitar to clean your tone? And everything in-between.
That includes Max the volume on the channel you are not using, too. You'll notice a nice surprise to your overall tone
Agree, I have had this amp for years now and it only occurred to me recently that I should try this, cranked it up then used guitar volume to go clean or dirty and I was very impressed! Seems to be more dynamic with pick attacks that way too.
Great playing, I'm getting ready to buy new amp and this really sound great, especially combined with Les Paul
I'll most likely buy it and also Epiphone Les Paul 50s standard since I don't have money for Gibson, but Epiphone really nailed it with inspired by Gibson collection
That's a great idea, the Epiphone Les Paul 50s is an excellent guitar. I really like Vox amps and in my opinion, an expensive amp is more valuable than an expensive guitar. Good luck and rock on bro!!
@@jonsalama thanks man, rock on!
Why does he looks like he just played a tennis game 😂😂
Are you playing the one with Greenbacks or with Alnico Blues?
Hi Jon, great stuff. Is this the Vox AC15 C1 or the Vox AC15 C2 ? I'm thinking of buying an AC15 but I don't know which one to buy.
Hey Daniel, thanks for watching! This is a C1 which is great for me right now since I don't have a lot of microphones, and I only need to mic one speaker (the C2 has two speakers)
What LP is this? im getting a Gibson LP as a gift but I noticed mine would be a 60's aswell due to the grovers
Amazing rendition, the low E is a bit flat which bothers my ears but... Amazimg performance
@Gengar you must be fun at parties!
Does your AC15 have a Greenback or Alnico Blue?
greenback!
Hi, what was the volume set at on your guitar.
John Ward The guitar volume was set to 10 the entire time. I’m considering making another video testing out how it would sound by rolling back the volume on the guitar.
Thanks Jon, just seen the insert about putting the amp in another room because it was so loud. Great sound / tone but like you said VERY loud. Many thanks.
On Helter Skelter hit the E string Hard knocking it out slightly to give it the effect you can see what I mean if you listen closer to the record you have to give the E string a Drone effect
How did you record this? What mic was used?
I used a Zoom H6 recorder, which actually records amazing audio from its included X/Y unidirectional microphones. I mic'd up the Vox about 6 inches away from the speaker.
Jon Salama Music : Wow, I’ve watched this several times and put it in my Guitar playlist. I learned so much from this.
Kings of Leon and stereophonics songs will sound great on the vox
Was the amp in another house? 😜😎
The trick is to set up 20 bypassed pedals, in order to use a lot more cables and maximize distance. The amp was 4 blocks down the road.
Which les paul burst is that?
heritage cherry
@@jonsalama thank you, mate. Beautiful guitar, tasty playing!
2:31 So close to the original
Hi. Can you PLEASE demonstrate Let It Be amp presets!!
George used his rosewood Telecaster and fairly standard tube overdrive tone from a Fender silverface amp (probably a Fender Twin). He also ran it through a Leslie 145 speaker to get the swirling tone on anthology versions of Let it Be, but it's not so clear on the album version. The Beatles didn't use a lot of guitar effects in Let it Be. I would focus on trying to get a cranked tube amp sound, with more treble.
@@jonsalama Thank you so so much :D
@@muffinsimte No problem. maybe i'll make a video demonstrating the solo at some point
Nice! But ear protection advised!
He said he put the amp in another room when it got too loud.
reverb 11
Great amp. Solid rendition of Beatles tunes and great to see someone of your youth appreciating their great music. One thing you inadvertently did though was to demonstrate how crappy some of the Beatles guitar parts would have sounded if they had used a Les Paul.
I think a les paul can do it all
In the later years they had fenders
John never played a Fender . George did
@@dmcguire70 of course he did.
They all played fenders
The G string is a little detuned
I think the low E is out of tune as well. Bothers my ear now but I guess it was too loud for me to notice at the time
I prefer P90s.
The only thing I don’t like is that the “Nowhere Man” solo., it wasn’t like the solo John and George played. Everything else is alraight
And the part of “Drive My Car” isn’t supposed to be somewhat of a scale.
And played with a slide!
Perhaps a little more attention to being in tune would help,
