I tested the mantis with pick farming flint and its only better than a tamed fasola if your mantis has thousands of melee%. An imprinted fasola with 1925% melee will be better than any mantis. The attack speed of the mantis is better than an anky but the hitbox is terrible so id only solo farm with it.

The lizard is good for cave chokes as the range is slightly larger than the sand pool. Terrorbirds running becomes annoying when you're trying to pass a choke and instantly get dismounted. Especially if you position the lizard doing its sand vortex (not burial) on the side of the wall....
yeah thats what i was thinking. Not bad but cave walls and foundations close to the fasolo stop it or dont let it spin is the only thing. If you have someone on a mammoth doing the drum buff the fasolo can spin in the vortex forever though

It also can move through the sand during a sandstorm with no affect from it
I still haven't been able to tame this guy. Did 2 runs and got bucked each time. Gonna try again today
Yeah when i tamed one, I got kicked off a bunch, when you hit something it does an uncontrollable turnaround, so it's bound to happen. Just have a flyer on following and get on it when you get kicked off. Take like 20-30 grenades to keep popping it out of the ground if its a high level.
I just farm metal with this lizard. Have you tried to hit the metal nodes? You only get metal from the metal nodes.

It is kinda of a pain in the ass to tame Buh it’s alright the biting it’s slow Buh it’s a cool creature to ride around
at least they gave us something to do. If you have a friend scout places to go to find more rocks or salt while you ride its not a bad tame at all. Also use grenades and not c4 like so many videos do lol
The Fasola need to be buffed to make it 🤔.... fun, viable
hes the best flint farmer and rock breaker in the game so he has his niche. Hes fine in pve but yeah his pvping needs a little buff
You forgot to test if mammoth buff will allow you to be buried and not get knocked off by flame thrower. If this is the case maybe you could pull off a cyclone spin in a giga line if your airforce is worth a darn
i did test. it doesnt work. The stamina gain from it lets you spin forever though lol. Might be good to hinder people running your cave if theres room to start the vortex
