Collin, do you teach? You seem highly versed on the individual corals. If you offered a weekend teaching seminar, say 15-20 seats, you’d sell out in a heartbeat! I’d be one of the first to enroll!

I'm so damned glad I subbed to your channel a few weeks ago. I lost my reef tank due to power out from a really bad ice storm 14 years ago. I have not had the heart to set another one up, the whole family was bawling over the dead fish and the tank man. I manually stirred water for 5 days, taped styrofoam and towels trying to keep the tank warm. My check showed up on Friday afternoon but sadly the tank and fish died that morning. I needed my check to get a generator to keep the pumps and heater running. It's great to see so many great looking tanks and how much farther the hobby has come in the time I've been out of it. I will get back in but only after we move.
Wow ironic I’m watching videos while my power is currently out. We had a bad storm and wind knocked down a tree onto a power line about 5 hours ago, estimated time they are saying for restoration is another 5 hours from now. Luckily not the same situation as yourself but scary and will now invest in a generator

Best to get a little generator for your aquarium if you do it again. I have saltwater fish, but not a reef tank. I was thinking of starting one but the idea of a power outage killing hundreds if not 1k worth of life is scary

I’m checking out the trick frag mounts in the 600 gal… the PVC stands are 1 working well, and 2 such a great idea. Around the 18 min mark.

Im from Omaha. I bought a green torch from you guys in oct 2020 while on vacation to StPete for an IndyCar race. It spawned in our tank at my store. Sold most of the spawns all of which are alive and well. Still have 2 independent colonies growing along with the original. I wish I knew what caused it to spawn as Id be a millionaire if I did!

I was able to find the button up and towel from the Volcom x Coral Morph collection! The only place I found that had any stock was in Singapore hahaha
Can you advise or even do a video on removing palys??
I have teal/green palys taking over my tank. Want to remove but scared to ;). And removing rock would be near impossible. I tried putting putty over them to smother out but they find away to just grow over that!
Would any of the rare corals they display ever show up on WWC for sale? I would love that giant xenia coral, never seen it before

Colin mentioned a mix of Dr Tim’s Eco Balance and One & Only that he feeds/doses his tanks with, can you tell us more about that?

Having all those tank connected to the sump is basically still one big tank, just divided. Idk if I'd call that smart if one goes bad they all do

The algae already has a name. It's called Wyld Dragon's Breath. It's my strain of Dragon's Breath I cultivated from micro frags tbat have been stolen by 3 different companies without crediting me. I could care less about money. I ask that you just call it what I named it. Wyld Dragon's Breath
LOL it's name is the species name, not 'yours'. I have the same exact macro that came in on a piece of liverock.
