Great idea ! But im almost positive nobody knows how to make this from this video . It basically only shows the prep . There's no explanation as to how long to cut the strings , or how high up the stings to put the cut circles , neither does it show how to arrange them to actually make this. I have zero clue how to actually make this other than cut circles poke them through holes that you did manage to show is the measurements to, and that's badically it . If your going to make these videos you should probably be more in depth . You have more confused viewers than you dont. The art is beautiful .. the way you presented it was not well at all . If I'm too make this I would need to know the length of the strings where each string goes according to length and how high up the circles on each string go. This video just left me frustrated due to lack of explanation.

I think the design is very beautiful but the materials and the choice of color made it look very cheap and tacky. You can upgrade it by using a cake board golden or silver and instead of the yarn use transparent plastic wires. And for the circle paper use acrylic discs or crystal. It may cost a bit more but you will actually have a very beautiful chandelier and it's safer than using paper that might burn from the heat of the light. I'm thinking in making one. Thanks for the inspiration 👍

I was wondering the same thing. There are a total of 7 rings. We know the center ring is the longest and has the most circles.
I think the best thing is to start with the length you want it to be, and use that as the center measurement. From there, the second string from the center is about 1.5 inches shorter than the center string. The third string is far shorter, about 3 inches. Each additional string in the remaining rings (4-7) look slightly shorter again, about 1.5 inches shorter as you move out from the center.
You could use the same methodology for the placement of the circles. Circles on the center string start at the top; second string place circles 1.5 inches lower than center; third string, placement is an additional 3 inches lower, then the rest place 1.5 inches lower as you move out.
A quicker way without measuring the strings would be to lay one from each ring down (shortest to longest), and use chalk or a fabric pencil to draw the angled line. From there, you can use each string as a guide for all the strings on one ring.
A lotta damn work but the end result looks beautiful. I don't know if I'll ever do it after thinking it thought lol. I hope this helps you.

Going from the center to outwards, u make the strings more dense with circles and trail off as u go outwards and make them slightly shorter. So the outside strings should be the shortest. And make sure you add the circles to the bottom ends first, put less as u go outwards

Если там лампа накаливания, то может загореться. У энергосберегающих слабая отдача тепла. Их можно в такие светильники вставлять

Tony Glad я нашла сейчас классный и менее замороченный способ , это из трубочек . Стильно , просто , минимум материала , и там безопасно .

When I lived in remote areas, we would design items like this and spend long amounts of time designing and creating. We had to because we had very little and had to live frugally and with ingenuity.
It was very satisfying to live this way but coming back into dense, urban populations or simply a place with access to Amazon and other online suppliers it is viewed as a waste of time. Often, one can purchase the item they need for a reasonable price so it makes no sense spending hours and hours making it oneself.
But it sure is fun watching you make something so intricate and lovely. I love the result. ❤

    • @Aurora9990

That is exactly what I was thinking! Most of the info is there, but the string to circle ratio is different to create the rounded shape in the end.
