hi there! This was helpful! But Im still getting burnt edges around the wood and the cutting and scoring is not clean. I have the riser base installed and I am wondering if this is the reason why I am still getting char around the wood? Do you think I should remove the riser base?

When changing the material from “reference” to the actual material, did you already have all the different materials available in the drop-down menu? I only see “Reference” and “Manual Setting” as options. Thank you!

Yes I did have some. For some reason xTool did not pre load any material settings in the software for the S1. I have no idea why b/c there are some for the M1 and P2.

Thank you for this. I do not have a tool bar like you? Where is it? Also im struggling to connect. It did at 1st, but now its not connected. Im desperate to do my 1st project. What am i doing wrong?

Unless xTool changed it, you are supposed to position the honeycomb all the way down (not up) in the right hand corner.
