You can get as many as you want by just asking your bank, any bank, to order some for you. On their next Federal Reserve delivery there will be a bundle of brand new sequentially numbered $2 bills. It's not that special!
I like the old 10's with the people and cars, the joke is that someone is hitch hiking on the bill. When the hitch hiker can't be found you tell them he must have got a ride.

apparently The citizens bank where i live stocks up on them quite frequently so i get them in stacks of 50 ($100 worth) just to set them into circulation.

I order $1000 in $2 bills from my credit union every 6 months to take to Panama where they use American currency. They love them down there. Love to give them out as gifts and tips. You can usually order them ahead of time from just about any bank or credit union.
Have question for you. I have about 20 2 dollar bills that are in mint condition and the serial numbers are in sequence ... would these be worth anything? Would they be considered uncirculated because they're right after each other.

I worked at a store once a where we actually for $2 bills every day. I would buy them all and had almost $500 worth in just two years. While they are unusual, they are not rare.

Only as a curiosity or conversation-starter, I'm afraid. Serial numbers tend not to be "interesting" to collectors unless they follow a full pattern like 12345678 or 24242424.
It's kind of cool that the 76's are technically bicentennial..but it looks like they're pretty common. Nice vid once again though!

Yes. Two dollars bills have been printed since 1862, except for a 10 year hiatus between 1966-76.
They are NOT rare. Ask for them at your local bank.

It will say United States Note instead of federal reserve note.. The face value is the acuall value unless its a U.S note..

For years the va would give them for travel pay. Now you have to have an address so they can send you a check-wouldn't want to get stiffed by homeless vets(even if they have to drive 150 miles-no mailing address- no $).

Google states there only 2 places printing USA money, DC and somewhere NW of Fort Worth! been to the DC place and if I recall correctly It is near the mall and 13 Th street. When I there some years ago it was possible to obtain uncut sheets of the $2 bills.

All - to clear things up, the Mint only makes coins. Bills come from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing which is separate from the Mint. The city shown on a bill is the hq of the Federal Reserve District that distributed the bill rather than where it was printed. The BEP has only 2 printing plants, DC and Fort Worth - all bills are printed there, regardless of which district processed them.
