Highs and Lows of XC Flying

24th April - A cold and gloomy Combe Gibbet morning with excellent lapse rates for flying but forecast to get strong then relax later in the day for a possible XC flight. Planned a flight to the south east but should have kept going to the south and west and bombed out cross winding.

Hi Nik, Greetings from Denmark 😎 I had the same carabiner issue on an XC flight last weekend, but managed to twist it round in-flight. It was actually a bit of a relief to work out after an hour in the air that my new wing wasn’t turning right because it was out of trim. Never had that happen before, and have never even heard of it before. Hope you’re keeping well. Cheers, Alastair
