This is one of the few songs where no words are written but the music can be felt and what it means

My grandpa was a veteran, he went through more fights than i know of and since he has gone to be with his mates for over a decade and a half, all i remember of grandpa is him standing among a field of graves, guitar on hand, playing songs after songs to his comrades for hours on end, and the young me next to him not knowing jack shit of what's going on but trying to enjoy the songs nonetheless.
I was too young a person to appreciate the songs or remember their lyrics, but what i have in mind now when i'm grown up is similar to this: solemn, but melodic and soothing. It's hard to put into words what they are like, but listening to this makes me feel at ease, and it's like my grandpa's with me once again, playing the guitar for hours and hours, among the field of graves where his fellow soldiers rest.

If I serve in the Marines and I out live those who gave their lives in combat in my squad, in my final moments I would want to be at their graves, so when my soul departs this world my long lost brothers and sisters know where to meet me, the only condition is, leave a penny, dime, quarter, a military coin on each of their graves and a bottle of scotch, just to say I bought the lads one last drink

My great grandfather served in almost every major battle on the western front (british, Cheshire regiment). He refused to talk about the war to the family. The only thing he eould say when pushed was.
"Oh the germans could, dam could they run. But they never caught me".

Honor to the brave, glory for the living, peace for the dead, no man or woman is more equal than those who put aside their differences and unite under a single banner than those who fight for the safety and the protection of those unable to fight, may they rest in peace, their sacrifices not in vain nor forgotten, and their spirits shine brighter than any light

On an average level, yes. Though one person alone cannot play this version.
