This is the truth! I was like Lot's wife. I didn't submit to the Holy Spirit until 8 years after I supposedly found Jesus. 8 years! I wanted to hold onto my lifestyle too much. It took me that long to truly read the bible and deal with the kinds of discomforts I knew were going to confront me in there.

Do conservatives submit to the Holy Spirit? Are conservatives known for their LOVE, JOY, PEACE ,LONG-SUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, and TEMPERANCE? I've heard plenty of conservative preachers and Ive watched plenty of conservative leaders and media that claim Christianity, and I cannot describe a single one of them by the Fruit of the Spirit. Read MATTHEW 25:31-46. I dare you. When conservatives can be described as this ❤️🐑❤️, then they can be described as Christians. JESUS SAYS WHAT HE SAYS

@marc9676 then you have not paid attention. Majority of conservatives are Christians unlike democrats who claim to be Christians but their fruits do not align with Gods truth

I was at Trinity yesterday witnessing this pre-recorded message, and I just gotta say - although pastor Mark's messages are always food for the soul, he hits it out of the park on messages such as this. So good!!!

I worked in mental hospital. A lot of this was among young girls who were attention seeking without taking on the responsibilities that come with being a man; like physically confronting other physically aggressive men/boys.

My pastor likes to say “if you put on a white glove and reach into a mud puddle, does the glove get muddy or does the mud get glovey?
Point is, it doesn’t take long to get stinky when you’re swimming in a sewer.

Mark is the only pastor that I know of taking on the culture war in his message. I’m just not sure if it’s a net positive or negative. For now I’ll say positive.

Let's get in our heads; God is not tolerant of any sin. He is however very patient with us as sinners. Sexual sin is outward manifestation of severe sin in an individual of which can grow worse in nature and darker than intended. Take a look around, is our world producing these fruits ? What did Lot do ? What are we doing? It's simple, we are tolerating sin. This subject is fun and extensive, I wish I had a week to share these mysteries found locked within the Holy scriptures.

🤔.......I understand that sexual deviation from marriage is a sin (fornication, adultery, homosexuality)...... even looking upon another person (not your spouse) with lust is a sin. But, I could never understand how King David was called "a man after God's own heart", even though he had multiple wives.

God gave us the Old testament as a total encouragement guide book. Kinda like a book of "hey don't do this!" It doesn't work! God loved David very very much. David's words all over the book of Psalms! It wasn't how David started, it was how he finished. Truly God is our God of a thousand of chances. Even when we totally blow it God is there helping us get back up! He is indeed worthy 🙏. After everything God has provided, living our lives for Jesus is our reasonable service!

Has any modern-day Bible scholar gone back to some of these verses, like Jeremiah 30:6, and tried to explain them.. it says in the verse previous to it that they are the words the Lord spoke to Israel and Judah, but it is centered around the time of Jacob's trouble.. the typical Bible commentators you read for their interpretation never had today's atmosphere going on when they wrote their explanation of the verse.. lol you ask that verse question today, and there would be a few people who adamantly claimed yes.. makes you wonder if God is gonna throw a zinger at some point to prove his point..

Jesus was the one who told Sarah will have a son, he went to seethe evil happening, and when they the people wanted to abuse the Angels sexually. Abraham knew exactly who it was, so Jesus , G-D in flesh, so how many times did Jesus actually visit earth before he came as the son.

🔥🇺🇲🔥 IS GOD TOLERANT OR INTOLERANT OF YOUR CONSERVATIVE CULTURE SINS?? Withholding empathy and charity from the poor, ill, homeless, and imprisoned. Refusing to exemplify God and withholding love from your enemies? Refusing to embody love to the world as GOD IS LOVE. Refusing to walk in LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONG-SUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, and TEMPERANCE, out of loyalty to a political party which despises the Fruit of the Spirit. 🔥🇺🇲🔥 "Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom; She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed, and unconcerned: they did not help the poor and needy." EZEKIEL 16:49 🔥🇺🇲🔥

Except that Ezekiel describes the problem in Sodom NOT as sexual. He never even comes close to that. it was their closing of the hand in the midst of abundance. It had everything to do with economic injustice: 16:49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
Have you ever actually read your bible?

You skipped the last, most important portion of the biblical text: Ezekiel 16:50 “they were haughty and did an abomination before me. So I removed them, when I saw it.” The abomination is sexual sin. Reading the ENTIRE text is incredibly important, which is exactly why Pastor Mark spent 10 minutes reading 2 complete chapters in this sermon.

Anyone that's read more than one verse of the bible to argue knows, throughout the whole thing from beginning to end, God hates sexual sin. He calls it an abomination and then lists sexual sin and says they will not go to heaven.
