This and the twin bed version is excellent for 2 people long term. The bed can be left with sheets on. Just grab your quilt and pillow from the wardrobe. The wardrobe space is second to none. I use one side of the divan as a day bed. This really is an ideal van for 2. Great size bathroom. Large garage. It has it all. Good size kitchen too and a kitchen you can cook in. And the size of the wardrobe. That should keep the wife happy. All in under 7m.
@@VanlifewithAlan I hope you can come to the United States and take a road trip with an RV. The Travel Leisure Vans are a step up compared to other RV manufacturers in North America Airstream makes a nice van but it is too small. Winnebago is starting to make better vans but Travel Leisure has the best modern designs so far. They still need to make a 4x4. They have started to build larger garages with their Wonder models.
Would love to see a fixed, rear bed version of this. Especially with a full closed door option. Just amazing design. I'm blown away. California hasn't seen this yet. Thanks
@@VanlifewithAlan yep, part of my living is designing artwork and selling cards, posters etc at fairs and markets as well as online. So I have 2 printers - 1 for thick cards, 1 for art prints upto A3. I'm looking at going fulltime in a van and just travelling and selling online and at markets and art fairs.:) I also have an A3 laminator that needs powering.
In that case you will need an inverter plus a very large table to work from! However if you get clients via the internet then that business model should work!
Can't get over how cheap these things are compared to Australia. The closest we have to something like this would cost me at least $130k AUD (€80k), so I can fly to Europe, buy a brand new van, travel around there for a year including all food and fuel, then fly back and it still works out cheaper.
Was looking for specs on the internet. Finally finally they start with more and more automated gearboxes. Finally. Relaxer driving. But but, I can not find that there is a heather built in....
Alan, I love the space in this floor plan, although I'm curious...with the two benches and table, does it also make a bed? Loved the tall and deep garage, very practical! Thanks for the video they're great.
I don’t have one of these, but is it that important to have a stationary bed? I mean, this hideaway bed is eliminating an entire extra room of space. Look at how much extra room you’re getting in your lounge, bathroom and storage.
Does anyone on here own one? Great layout but I’d like to know or see a demo of what happens if you leave your bedding on the bed then push the button to raise it...does it just go as far as it can so you just lose a couple of inches of headroom or is it a problem for the bed not going fully up?
I don't get vans with seating for 6 but only 2 belts. I understand it s only a two birth, but surely they can design a system were 1 of the bench seats (which would have built in belts) can slide sideways and face forward for travel. Just seems daft to have a van longer than any car, that only 2 people can travel in.

I like this, so much space for living long term,
It’s brilliant, fitted sheet is left on the bed and a duvet to sleep under, so effectively your bed is always made
I like the living space a lot and even better with having almost full standing space under the bed. Great find.
It is certainly an original layout!
Really impressed with this one, the lounge layout is ideal for fulltime living and there's some proper kitchen prep space to boot!
The perfect layout for a solo traveller.
I agree. That hideaway bed really opens up the entire van.
Which competitives it has?
I like this ‘hidden bed’, always felt like fixed beds are stealing space..
Have you ever seen the Leisure Travel Vans built in Canada? They have the best designs for a van. The bed is a Murphy bed.
Not physically, I have seen pictures.

This really looks nice!
Love it, 1/3 of price a Mercedes van, love, love, love it
I think I've just found my fulltime live-in van. Just need to check about solar panels opportunity for my computer and printers :)
You would take more than one printer with you?

Thanks for watching Brian - I can't remember if this one also makes a bed. I think if it did, I would have said so at the time!
Yes it makes a double, you can see the parts to fill in the table in the garage.

It's a button bed. Sounds and looks like a lot of room to me!
Alan is Challenger and Chausson the same manufacturer?
They are both part of the Trigano group and are both (I think( manufactured at the same factory!
BRING THIS TO AMERICA! It's built on a Ford, so there shouldn't be any problems for importation.
