That was odd. I've not seen a lot of games like this so I didn't know what to expect. Kind of underwhelmed. I feel like just about any other ending would have been better than that one. Nothing in the game foreshadowed the ending or really had any bearing on it. I though the surreal bits actually meant something - like something so horrific happened that it broke reality, Stranger Things style and there was some unspeakable entity, an eldritch rat-monster at the end. The game is just, shake the rate, explore the house, find the end. Was this supposed to be a person who went mad trying to piece together their fractured memories to learn what terrible thing they did? Your commentary was great, by the way.
