Very good overview of the wear and tear. This clip was quite helpful. I really like when people talk about what they broke after few thousand miles, it is like seeing in the future when you have a similar usage. Thanks a lot!
I have almost 7000 miles on mine. Just gas a 2nd set of tires regular oil changes. And replaced the battery about 2 months ago. Would I buy another one yes I would.
I had to comment on that CV boot. I ripped a front and a rear boot on my rubicon. Let me tell you... It is incredibly easy and fast to swap out an axle. All you have to do is remove the wheel and lower shock bolt which is 5 mins, and the axle can slide out. i did both in 15 mins. Couldn't believe how fast it was. all balls or eastlake sells those axles for cheap too. Honda dealer in barrie ontario canada quoted me $2400 to change two axles with oem. I did it for $350.00 in 15 mins. Unreal. Shout out to the engineers at honda tho who made it easy.
Jealous of Montana. Absolutely beautiful. Im in Minnesota in farm country. Always windy, winters very cold. I think your Honda vids best on net. I want one but nearest dealer is a ways. Polaris dealer within 30 miles so I am on second Polaris sportsman. First was 450, now on a 570 premium. I know you and everyone will laugh at Polaris, and I won't try turning this into a Polaris sportsman thing. I must say I have 3400 miles on this one and only issue was a faulty brake light. Brakes stayed on. 400 as dealer had to do it. Thats it tho. Have heated grips, throttle, windshield as its so dang cold in here. Starts always. Rides great I think. If I were to order a Honda I know I would love it especially after all the work you put in these awesome videos. Unfortunately I would have no dealer support and while Im mechanical sometimes you just can't figure it out. I had a 83 honda three wheeler as a kid and it still works. I think. But Honda is my goal someday but I still worry about the dct as solenoids are tricky. Cvt is easy. Ive never had to change my belt yet. But I love that car type gear switching on that thing. I just want it. Your videos are so beautiful to get Honda atvs more known. But I must say with so many sportsmans sold there will be bad reports. Many though are really solid. Easy to do stuff to, tons of dealer support, and accessories. Mine flat out is really good. People here say at 5000 miles it will be hard to pay to sell and dealers already at 3400 wont offer me 4000. I know it will go a very long time though. But as long as my honda 200 three wheeler? Well that's again an 83. I watch all your videos and I think Ill get a 24 Honda. I don't need to go above 30 abd my 570 easily does 50 but I never do. So a 520 would be plenty. But I will have no dealers close so I hope it does what Honda does, never die. But again please understand a 2020 sportsman 570 is at 3400 miles and only a brake light failure. They aren't that bad. I really appreciate your videos!
He said one thing that I thought more important than all others…… if I’m 60 miles away from home, I have no worries about getting back home. Definitely
Love the sound effects! I wish they made a big bore version of this bike. Trying to decide between the thrills of a Polaris sportsman 850 or 1000 or the reliability of team red in a dct eps rubicon (Honda).
I have a honda rancher and rubicon, and the rancher has 7000 mi front end is destroyed. It has cooled logs yatefront end is destroyed. It has yanked on logs. Mud road creek road water road never had an old change.
Thanks for the long term reviews on the Rubicon. Watching your vids convinced me to buy one in 2022, and it goes not disappoint. I was initially upset that the vertical bars on the racks were removed on the 2022, but now I like it, as I have put some loads on it that would have not fit well if those bars had been there.
@@_E.S.C._ I am very happy with it. I'm mostly using it on the farm to haul a trailer to feed hay and carry firewood, so I only have about 1,000 miles on it. Overall, it is rock solid. SUPER comfortable and strong enough to do every task I need done, but not so overpowered that it tears itself apart. It starts right up and runs perfectly. I set the valves at 600 miles even though they were very nearly perfect. I put a 3500lb winch on the front and added a pull start. I also mounted a big Apache case from Harbor Freight to the front rack for tools, first aid and a fire extinguisher. I am thinking of getting a couple of smaller Apache cases for the rear rack to hold things like the air pump, battery jump pack, and towing strap/tackle. No complaints at all. I would buy it all over again.
@@_E.S.C._ TRX520FM6. Matte Bronze, manual shift, and power steering. I love the locking differential and not having to worry about any belt wearing out in the transmission. Gears all the way!
That’s great. They are awesome workhorses. If you mainly work with them they will be awesome. If you ride fast pace. You might want to consider a grizzly 700
a good set of Elka shocks would help the ride a bit but a grizzly would sure help with the top speed lol. Idk why Honda never made a 700 they have the motor already in the trx700xx
I also had to replace my front wheel bearing on a new 250cc honda recon, it was only 3 weeks old. i was surprised too, i think they sometimes get damaged from sitting for years in the dealer.
Enjoyed the video.. been trying to save up for a pioneer 1000.. but I just can’t do it, spending 18K on a machine for fun/work is way out of my budget… sticking with an affordable ATV Honda black deluxe model or a grizzly
Grizzly are about 13-14k out the door here. Deluxe rubicon is around 11k. Defined both great machines. As much as I want a grizzly. Deep down I still love the idea of a new rubicon
Are you aware Honda is coming out with a new ATV? Its called the TRX700, its a rubicon with a single cylinder 700cc. Honda dealers have confirmed this.
Number one, slow down on the movement of your phone while you are filming. And the rest I'm sure you can figure that one out, talking about everything except the Rubicon review.
Hard to believe you don't like the ranger. I have 2 best machines ever. They get used super hard and beat on with 0 problems ever. They tow 5 ton running gear hay wagons around like nothing. Small logs and lumber. I believe we have the same sawmill also lt40hd.
I just bought a 24 model rubicon and righ out of the box it's making a bad noise in the rear end and can't figure out what it is it's a bad clanking noise and only does it in high gear 4th and 5th

2018 rubicon with 18,600 miles. Runs perfect. Due for tires and some plastic restoration but I love it.

Have you been on top of all your maintenance or has it basically been only oil changes and washing off the air filter?
Look into the 2024 Honda Rubicon it is a 700 cc full independent suspension ATV
