I had to have one the bolt action AR-10, and yes, it is pricey, but I LOVE the fact that it can go from a bolt to a semi-auto just pulled two pins. I prefer bolt guns to auto guns.

Bang Bang Bo well let me start by saying as a rule I never tell anyone that their wife or sister are ugly even when they are. It’s just not nice, with that said man is that one ugly config. When I want to shoot a pistol I shoot a pistol. When I want to shoot a rifle I shoot a rifle and when I need to combine the two this is not how I would do it. There are a lot of better ways to do it. My preference is simply buy a rifle chamber in the pistol caliber of my choosing. Or get one of those glock drop in rifle kits. Aar Zul I have to agree with you 100%. There are a lot of bolt action rifles but you would be hard pressed to find a bolt action off the shelf with all these features. A custom made bolt action would of course give you all of these features but at a very high price.
Aar Zul so far I’m stuck at home with this pandemic crap. I did my research and as soon as I get to the range I’ll do a report. I looked at the Howa and it’s a good rifle as is the Ruger precision 6.5 rifle but this one I think is better for a lot of major reasons. One is it takes a standard AR type stock. You say that YOU added the bipod and muzzle brake ? Because I own this rifle in .308 and , as per Mossberg , the rifles all should come with both .

Been researching bolt actions for awhile. This one is the sexiest chassis I ever seen. It would be nice with longer barrel though.
