NBA Finals 2013: Game 7, Final minute
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 чер 2013
- The last minute of a great series. Tim Duncan (24 pts, 12rebs) and the Spurs held on till the final minute, but Lebron James (37 pts, 12rebs) finally sealed the win for the Heat with a jump shot. Great performances by Dwyane Wade (23 pts, 10 rebs) for the Heat and Kawhi Leonard (19 pts, 16 rebs) for the Spurs

Damn I never realized the respect the heat showed. They barley even celebrated, basically went straight to hugging the spurs
They were just waiting for the roasting they were about to receive the next year
well who the hell celebrates in front of the other team...that is classless...wait till they leave......to me winning a title has nothing to do with rubbing you opponents faces in it....respect the other team..it went 7....
+razkable again lol
The Heat and Spurs both showed tremendous class when they lost/won in the finals. The two best teams for those two years and you could easily see how much they respected each other
TheKYRw Yup
LeBron is so clutch in Game 7's. Even when he lost to the Celtics in 2008, he dropped 45 points. Mad respect
Ryan Som that is a pie
A lie
He never played against the Celtics in the finals
Alex Cuzmar obviously eastern teams can’t face each other in the finals he said game 7s
Alex Cuzmar what an idiot. He's obviously referring to 2nd or 3rd round.
Heat LeBron James is so Iconic. The headband, the red and white jersey and his skill set. It's just looked like a perfect basketball player.
He is without a doubt the 2nd greatest player of all time
@@Chubbs57181for sure the 1st
@@Chubbs57181 I think he might be second “greatest.” MJ’s accomplishments and finals record is unmatched. But context matters. Lebron is without a doubt the best bball player ever
He just looked like the perfect villain in those Heat uniforms.
The whole early 2010s is just iconic.
That was before he went back to the Cleveland Cavaliers and became a straight up prick for the rest of his career. I wish he would've rode his career out with the Heat because that was when he was a classy player and he has respect for the league. Plus, he never bullied the opposing players just because he was bigger back then, either.
Seeing duncan slapping the floor always hurts ;(
@Lionel Avila coulda and shoulda been 6
@Lionel Avila exactly, timmy will be alright, besides the fact that they beat the pistons in 2005 in a seven game series, and I believe a few games went to over time, and those games were like all within 5 points or less
Mustafa Azami whatever helps you sleep at night
Shit kills me every time as a lifelong spurs fan. I had never seen him miss a point blank shot like that, and then show so much emotion. He fucking knew they needed it.
y’all still lost by 7 who cares
Probably one of the best finals series ever.
Or 09" Lakers Celtics
2010*
no this was def better
How bout now?
+cain Nieto still one of the best
The only thing the haters seem to remember about this series is that LeBron got "bailed" out by Ray Allen. They don't talk about LeBron's triple double in game 6, or his record tying 37 points in game 7, they only mention Ray Allen "bailing" him out. People like Skip Bayless think that clutch means the last 30 seconds of a game or buzzer beaters but that's wrong. It doesn't get any more clutch than game 7 of the NBA finals, or game 6 if your team is down in the series. I'm not a fan nor a hater of LeBron, I can just show respect when I see greatness.
Lebron game 6 against the Celtics in 2012, 45 and 15 = not clutch
Lebron game 7 in the finals, 37 ties the NBA record for most points in a game 7 = not clutch
Kobe game 7 in the finals 6/24 = clutch
Haters man
+Ali Bakhshi lebron sucks
+Collin Workman elegantly put in words, I totally agree to what you said.
+Ali Bakhshi 2-4,nuff said
+Ali Bakhshi nobody said Kobe's 6/24 was clutch, and nobody says 45/15 in game 6 isn't. You need to stop talking to the retarded fans or imagining conversations with them.

Same lol. Been watching all the great games👍

@@mrbond9882 you serious?!?
Damn, poor Tim Duncan. He is one of the greatest power fowards of all time. He carried the spurs for nearly two decades and missing that lay in and tip in hurts to watch. His reaction makes me the most sad. He was so frustrated with himself.😔
Alexis Espinoza he’s the greatest power foward of all time no doubt

lebron is still in his prime I would assume but if not he's still great in fact he's still Better than everybody except curry
+Kobe mac Curry has only been relevant for 2 seasons. Stop playing with Lebron's name. When his name comes up respeck it, I ain't gon say no mo.
+Kobe mac curry is a better offensive player
it's just more than offense
+Kobe mac Did you just say Curry is better than lebron? Lmao in what world? He's only a better shooter
Even though I'm a Spurs fan, this series was the best series I witnessed.
+100spurs In terms of a finals series maybe. But the best playoff series I witnessed was the Clippers vs Spurs 2015 playoffs. Insane.
Best playoff series I witnessed was the Spurs vs Mavs playoff series in 05-06.
I like Cavs vs Warriors 2015 and Clippers vs Spurs 2015 over this but this is number 3.
+RatchetSprite I have a feeling if the Cavs and Warriors have a rematch in the Finals this year... that might just take the cake and eat it too.
George Daugherty yep, same.
Why is the shot, the steal, and the two free throws by LeBron James in the last 30 seconds of game 7 Finals not immortalized or talked about? Arguably the clutchest 30 seconds ever.
Cause MJs game winner was more clutch
Requiem lmao you’re soft like LeBron
Hunter it was an offensive foul kid but believe what you want
Hunter that shot was in a game 6 against weaker competition, Lebron did this against in a game 7 against the the Tim Duncan spurs
@Requiem it wasn’t a push didn’t u watch The Last Dance?
I still think this is the greatest finals series in history. Some of the best basketball you’ll ever see played

There are extremely few that could be argued to be better than it
2016 Cavs vs gsw is better.
The Spurs this and the following season were insanely good. Greatest chemistry and just overall collection of solid AF players

Are you also class of 2020?
As a Miami local , best times of my life when LBJ was here

I'm sure Duncan is still pissed about not going undefeated in the finals though
Spurs was really my bet on western conference. So I was shaking badly while watching this final game. 😂
1:02 one of the most underrated clutch shots of all time.
Inigo Bantok Any shot made in a critical situation is clutch by definition. Obviously if your down that’s even more critical, but dagger shots can still be clutch especially when your only up by 1 possession.

Most underrated LeBron moment by far. Honestly probably his best finals moment, way more clutch than the block vs the warriors
Jeez that's a brutal miss by Duncan. There's no doubt he's still kicking himself over that one all these years later. Regardless of the fact that they got revenge in 2014
As a Heat fan I gained so much respect for Tim Duncan after this series.

Which LeBron was better?
Young Cleveland LeBron
Physical Prime Miami LeBron
Or Mental Prime Cleveland LeBron
What do you mean by mental prime?
+Dapigggy Roblox He has the right mindset and really know what it takes to lead a team.
Physical in Miami, he was terrifying to watch. The guy dropped 45 pts and 15 rebounds on Boston, the first player to do something like that since Wilt C. he was insane, it was like he didn't have limits, playing about 40 minutes a game while getting a bunch of triple doubles and getting close to the best PER in NBA history
Mental Prime Cleveland LeBron wins. No contest.
One title in Cleveland = Five titles in Miami.
Zach Falbe Young high flying Cavs Bron ,one man show, literally.
Old man Bron knows his stuff, learned from Pat Riley, more mature.
But Prime Heat Bron was a man on a mission, one game, one word, unstoppable, 45/15/5, 73% FG,TD Garden, best game by a player I've witness, the pressure, the hate, didnt matter
This is the maybe the greatest finals series of all time. There are so many hall of famers and great players/coaches that were apart of this rivalry. 2015 and 16 Lebron was awesome too. Woulda won back-to-back if Kyrie & Love don't get hurt in 2015
To this day I still cannot believe Tim Duncan missed that hook from point blank
+Jake Benito Still would have lost by probably the same amount
+Jash Rock No. They could've taken their time just down two. It changed everything.
+Jake Benito Duncan has always been kind of a choker in situations like that if you have really watched him throughout his career. You could probably put together a 7 minute UA-cam career highlight video of Duncan shuffling his feet and traveling, line driving it off the the rim, going 0fer at the line, etc on possessions where you really have to nut up in close games. Don't get me wrong, 1st ballot HOFer, probably the best PF of all time, the main reason for the San Antonio dynasty. Not a clutch player though.
did not matter.
+JJ Watt eat dirt what? He's right, Duncan was never that clutch of a guy. Being great doesn't mean you're good in the clutch. Lebron wasn't for a long time and the same with Kobe and even MJ BITCH
& people say LeBron isn't clutch
6for24 idiot
6for24 that's why it's a team sport and LeBron doesn't play 1 vs 5
How is 6for24 an idiot? He just showed you an example on why people say he isn't clutch. Why even make the statement that he's clutch if the way you respond is by mentioning an obvious fact that he has teammates? Jordan and Bryant had teammates too, and they're clutch players. Lebron obviously isn't clutch if he almost lost game 6 with his missed threes and turnovers in the final minutes. Having clutch teammates doesn't make you clutch, fucking idiot.
One shot and a few free throws don't make you a clutch player, I'm sorry. He closed the game out, but didn't do so the game before. Can't be considered clutch if you only do it once in 2 games in my opinion.
Lebron did help in game 6 he cut down the lead to 2 with a huge three without his three they would have went home. And are you forgetting that heat were down 10 entering the fourth quarter? James got em into it so he was the central piece of their offense. One game with some turnovers and missed shots does not define a player.

Best moments of the big 3 players of Miami Heat. Still watching 2019
This is one of the most underrated, non talked about clutch sequences of all time. Midrange jumper to put them up 2 baskets. Clutch steak to take one of the 2 possessions away. 2 clutch free throws to make it a 6 point game. All in under 30 seconds to win a game 7 of the NBA finals.
If the Allen three in game 6 wasn't so epic people would remember the james jumper in game 7
derek d The haters wouldn't. The only thing the haters say about this series is that LeBron got bailed out by Ray Allen. They don't talk about LeBron's triple double in game 6, or his record tying 37 points in game 7, they only mention Ray Allen bailing him out.
+Sam Yancy I just ignore them for the most part, really. Not worth spending my time and energy. Far more useful things I could do. Think of it this way: Lebron haters may just be. the most dedicated fans Lebron James is ever going to have.
+Collin Workman actually, if we're going to nit pick. Duncan missing that tip in sealed San Antonio's fate. if this game was tied 90-90 Lebron would've missed that jumper.
Chandler Greskamp How do you know that he would've missed the jumper? He's hit a plethora of a clutch shots.
When your up 90-88 and take a shot with 31 seconds left there is some pressure but not much. When it's tied 90-90 and you take a shot to go for the lead there is a monumental amount of pressure especially in the final minute of a game 7. And he wouldn't have taken that shot. If it had been tied the spurs would have gotten set on defense and LeBron wouldn't have gotten that open shot. One play, one make, or one miss can completely change the outcome. If Marco Bellinelli hadn't hit that 3 in the 3rd qtr of game 3 of the 2014 nba finals to put the spurs back up 10 in the midst of that heat run it would have at least been a tight game down the stretch and since miami was at home they probably would have won.
this lebron jumpshot is so underrated. One of his most iconic shots of all time. Right in Kwhai’s face
Kawhi, Duncan, Ginobli and Parker. Imagine if Kawhi played like today when he was with the Spurs..

That floor slap by Duncan really made me feel for him for the first time as a non-Spurs fan. Heartbreaking.
2017 NBA Finals will be Cavaliers vs Spurs. Lebron avenges his 2007 loss a year after avenging his 2014 loss to the Warriors and Cleveland beats San Antonio in 7 games. Lebron James wins his 4th Championship and 4th Finals MVP. Finals record goes to 4-4 and becomes the 4th greatest player of ALL TIME behind Kareem-Abdul Jabaar, Michael Jordan, and JAVALE MCGEE!
yooo 😂😂
Magic Johnson instead of JAVALE MCGEE obviously, but I think LeBron, in this hypothetical, would become (in my opinion) indisputable second best of all time, with the only realistic way for him to become the greatest in the eyes of the general public being winning 6 or more chips.

Gotta respect Tim Duncan here. Glad I witnessed every moment of it.
Even though the Spurs got revenge in 2014, it still doesn’t feel right. Like, they proved they were better than the Heat, but it still didn’t feel right. Because when the Spurs beat the Heat in 2014, it was so great obvious that it would happen that it took away from the excitement. When the heat beat the Spurs though, the Spurs were so close and then got their hearts ripped out in games 6 and 7. I won’t feel like the Spurs got TOTAL revenge until they do the same thing to the Heat and show them what it felt like to them in game 6 and 7.
This was the greatest NBA Finals of all time. Been a Heat fan since '03, when they drafted D-Wade. For ten years I was trying to sell this matchup to all kinds of fans (It almost happened twice before in both 2005 and 2012, with each team who did get in winning the chip both times). I knew a long time ago a Heat-Spurs NBA Finals would go down to the wire. Thank god for home court advantage:)
One of the greatest forgotten shot in NBA history... It is shadowed by Ray allen's miraculous 3 pointer in game 6, but what a game-closing shot it is.
Cuz that ray allen shot literally saved the series, it was miss or make
Epic series and epic performance by The GOAT King James.
The last part was epic! A sign of thousand respect, AWESOME!!!
That shot my James is so underrated.
Chris Tucker facts
Watching Tim Duncan smack the floor gave me a huge smile.
Burn in hell...

SheckleRFan715 I'm not a heat fan so I don't really care haha
Old days..love to go back.😭😢😭
Those where the good old days. I miss this. Hopefully we'll get back there soon.
the best match up that GSW never Had
Game 7 LeBron James is just so freaking different.
So cool to watch td’s 07 comments after sweeping LeBron come to fruition. It really did become his league, and against Duncan’s spurs.
Wades a true class act, showed respect to Tim Duncan and the Spurs before he even bothered to celebrate.
All Heat fans watching this in 2019!
2020 now😂
