Carolina Ravassa is an amazing voice actress, maybe the most famous one on game voice acting of all VA in Valorant, but Riot could have chosen a brazilian to do it.
But as a Brazilian I don't mind about it.

As a Filipino that plays a lot of Valorant, this has been the most excited I’ve been for any character to come out in any game!
I actually teared up watching this. There is so much passion and vibrant color in Vanille, I am so proud she was chosen for Neon and can represent Filipino culture in this huge milestone. Thank you Riot Games and Vanille ❤️

@Mbita Acoustic Guitar The quality of the video does not depend on gear, but it’s how you use what you have to make content you love. I started my whole channel editing and doing everything on my phone. So gear doesn’t matter that much. It’s the quality of the content that matters not the gear.

I’m not from an demographic that needs representation but when I see NATURAL diversity and representation and IS NOT forced, I get so happy I almost want to cry.
I major in global and international studies- which means I study the happy stufff… and the bad stuff all over the world. Being able to unite the earth with a VIDEOGAME? That’s so sensational.
They even have an agent from Morocco and Ghana. Another from Brazil. I’m still waiting for them to drop a Native American agent but I’m afraid they’re going to stop at 20.

Nice. A lot of people here saying they want this for the other voice actors. I agree. Also some BTS concept art on the development of each character. Very interested to see how the designs evolved to the final versions.
The artist has a channel on yt dont remember the name but I know he uploads videos of him drawing the final artwork that you see in the game with concept art as well

As someone with Filipino blood but growing up in the west I am legit tearing up… so proud of Neon and what she represents. As a kid and teenager being Filipino was always something people used against me, never for me, and I remember going through a phase where I hid it from people. I am so happy that today’s youth have a character like Neon that they can look at and say “hey, she’s Filipina and cool. I can be proud of my identity”

Neon is just as sick as their voice actor
I don't think riot care's much about nationalities, it's more of a way to promote the game in each country. To me it's just a perfect marketing stunt since it would usually in every game make more sense to hire just a few local people that do all the voicelines.

This honestly made me so emotional. I’m a Filipina who was born and raised in NYC. NYC is as diverse as it can get, but growing up, Filipino representation in the media was not so common. I remember seeing people on tv and finding out they were even a quarter Filipino made me so proud! Flash forward to today, seeing a strong Filipina character made for such a popular game still gives me the chills! I couldn’t be more proud of and grateful for Vanille for representing us, and grateful for Riot for highlighting us and our culture during the release of this new agent!
Would definitely love to see this kind of video for the voice actors of the other agents!
