It's quiet, as I took a test drive this past Monday and I decided to buy one. It's very Sporty looking with options for accessories, including some pet accessories.
Huge improvement to the kicks, Definitely go with the premium package get so much more, including the Bose stereo with the speakers in the headrest, and the panoramic sunroof that has the ambient LED lighting all around the sunroof. It looks so good.👌💯
@MattTheCarguy thank you for the review there's only a few recent reviews of the new Nissan kicks that are not in the studio. I think the Nissan is going to sell a ton of these. It would be fantastic if they did Se-R version with the 1.3 Turbo from the Rogue. Or a hybrid version like they have a hybrid version of the Rogue in the UK
Nice and slightly bigger. Hoping the size increase was significant though. When this model hits the southeast Asian market it would be powered by the next generation epower hybrid system.😀
It is about 2 inches longer and wider but its the roofline that makes the biggest difderence in my opinion. Significantly more head room and cargo room in the rear.
HRV is available as AWD. But this is a nice car, at least as the top of the line as shown here. Definitely an improvement over the old one. You have to get the SR to have the Pro Driver features.. Same engine as the Sentra. Hopefully the CVT and electronics will last.
Hey they did a great job on styling this kicks. Unfortunately the back seat is STILL to small to fit a small american adult, no knee room unless your a 75lb japanese adult. Very very disappointed.Take 4 inches off your class leading cargo cubes nissan. Nothing going right for you guys. Give us back seat room otherwise this is a 2 seater.
@@MattTheCarguy All the Thai and Mexican guys are like "nobody is taller than that!". On a serious note though, don't get the pano option, should give a little more room. Also, don't sleep on the Rogue, the S-trim is pretty well equipped and roomy and believe it or not HIGHER fuel economy than the Kicks.
Premium package also includes a panoramic moonroof. But it's that front central seat-mounted supplemental airbag that has me puzzled. Is that for additional rear seat occupant protection? Why would you need an airbag between the two front passengers?
This has been offered by several manufacturers for the last couple years. It’s supposed to help when there is an impact so you don’t smash your head in to your passenger in my opinion very very useful.
There is more room in the back seat. Problem is the 2 front seats are leaned way back. Just saying. This car is amazing if he sat the 2 front seats up like normal people sit u would have plenty of leg room in the back. Not everyone drives like a gangster with the front seats way back and down. 👍
If you are shorter than it would be great. At 5'11" i need my seats reclined so I dont bump my chin on the steering wheel lol. Definitely everyone should check it out for themselves.
Nice car, but too small for me and my dog. I would be considering a Rogue, but engine reliability is an issue. Plus, Nissan took the Bose out of the SL premium pkg. Deal breakers.
I dislike shifter that you pull all the way back and find yourself in a "low gear" mode for coming down hills and stuff that while needed, most people are never going to use it, so why not make us take another step somehow to engage it...I know, i know most people don't pay attention to details like that lol
This kicks kicks up the price it’s way too much I care less about the techno goodies, the style is just ok looks bigger than the last generation, I’d never fork out over 20 grand, I sure miss the days you could get a brand new hatch with decent features not the latest or greatest for like 10-17 grand, this one nearing 30 grand loaded up no thank you, I’m ready for 20 grand promised small trucks, shoot I saw a Chevy TRAX 21 grand looks maybe a bit bigger than this
If you are looking for an SUV for under 20k it will be almost impossible. Trax or Soul both start just over 20K for base trims. Base Kicks under 22K is agreat value as well. I miss those days as well. When I started in car business in 1997 we had a brand new Civic in the showroom for less than 10K. Those days will not return.
If you need faster go with CX-30 with Turbo. But you will pay for it. Most people dont care about acceleration buying these type of vehicles. On the other hand it would be nice to have an option available for those who care.
I'm so excited to upgrade my current Kicks to this one!
Great choice!
I know like hell you are
Everything is working fine on my current Kicks, so why would I treat it like that and get rid of it?
@@Jan96106 Updated safety features, a new warranty, better technology to cater to your needs.
Same! I have a 2020 SV and def gonna get the SR this time lol
One of the best designs they’ve released in a long time
100%
Great job & I should test drive this & buy this.
absolutely!
I like it and the improvements over the older model. I can see me buying one in about 3 years. I own a 2022 Sentra I purchased new and I love it.
Definitely, it would be a nice step up.
Great review and I really like the vehicle a lot.
You should buy it!
Nice review! I want to look at these! How quiet is the ride? Thanks!
It's quiet, as I took a test drive this past Monday and I decided to buy one. It's very Sporty looking with options for accessories, including some pet accessories.
It has quite a bit of engine noise while accelerating, otherwise very nice at cruising speeds.
Best accent on the internet. Not even close.
what accent? hyundai? 😂

Everywhere else but USA they have ePower. Really bad Nissan.

I think 5'8" would be the max height to be comfortable in the back.

I guess more airbags, less damage to the passengers if they were to "bump heads" for example.
So they don't conk heads.

Aboslutely a giant leap forward compared to the old model. But this trim at over 30K.
This one was 28,100. details in description
What is the foot room for rear seat passengers under the front seats? Can you stretch your legs under the seat?
I can slide my feet underneath the seat but no stretching.
With the all in one system looks like the same system as the Chevy Trax has on the 24s and 25s
Are you referring to the infotainment system?
Nice car, but too small for me and my dog. I would be considering a Rogue, but engine reliability is an issue. Plus, Nissan took the Bose out of the SL premium pkg. Deal breakers.
Its definitely compact. If you are looking for a larger size my choice would be CRV Hybrid.
Sweeet. I just hope dealers dont fk customers and actually sell it like an affordable eco car instead of marking then up
I work at Nissan and an sv model just sold for 25k so pretty good pricing. Not much different price wise from last years
There is a new law coming up 15th of this month preventing unauthorized mark ups and forced add ons. Will definitely help the buyers.

Why it reminds me outlander sport
There is a partnership between Nissan and Mitsubishi. Outlander is using Nissan engine.
Lol, 0 to 40 in around 6 seconds. Pretty anemic
