Can I just say I really appreciate this series on the Cogswell District development? I'm really excited to see what comes of it, and your videos help me keep track of it's progress.

It is fascinating to follow this as a life long Nova Scotian. Halifax is already a stunningly beautiful Capital City, but this will be the cream on the cake. I contrast the more angular buildings built during the late 1960's evidenced in your update. Now we will see more truly modern structures and I look forward to what city planners and developers have in mind. Let's see some real imagination and beauty, curves and height. Please Halifax don't be afraid of high density and height. Since we often, by tradition, refer to cities as feminine Halifax needs to put on her big girl panties and build for and plan for one million plus people in a modern city with greater amenities beginning with a third bridge, aquarium, sports facilities, new museums & art gallery, and much more. The east coast of Canada needs a big city, and Halifax is the answer. No more silly being afraid of height and density in the city core. The day a new Opera House opens will be a true sign that Halifax has grown up to her million plus place among cities in North America. Halifax you have permission from this life long Nova Scotian to grow up!

I agree with a lot if that. Some problems with height I heard use to be Citidel Hill. If so, this area isn't blocking a site line of the hill. And you can only do so much. I think a lot of the new buildings going up are too short.
I'm not so sure Ai agree on a third bridge. Where would you put it? I think both bridges are under sized. I hate to think of the traffic caused by replacing one of them
