iam back with yet another honest review on the sonik sks bite alarms. remember i am not paid to say anything on here and its totally 100% independent review and paid for by me
Funny how ive come across this video looking for a review on the soniks . I currently have the Korum set. And had them 2 years. And theyve never let me down in sense of letting me know when i have a fish on. And after your review i will be purchasing the soniks for below reasons. The korum one do my head in now at night when your asleep and they randomly bleep because of heavy wind or even if the fish look at my bait lol 🤣 i now want sensitivity button for a little better sleep at night. Also bang on about heavy rain. The korums in heavy rain seem to tone down . Look forward to trying these sks soniks.
thanks for the comment and yes you will be a lot happier with the soniks the extras like the sensitivity buttons are a great bonus and an even better help as you said think korum need to do better but i suppose they are a budget set tbf that my son now uses when he comes out with me
I also don't have issue seeing inside the bivvy when rushing to the rods, however.....Could the light be fixed to the outside or maybe on a bank stick to provide some external light in your peg? May offer some help not tripping over rough ground in those tight pegs.
Following on from your Korum. These do seem a lot better for money including features. Again if you don’t mind my persistent questions … do you know the range on the receiver. I have social coming up and will have to leave my spot briefly. Would be good to know how far I can go before receiver cuts out signal. Not to worry if you don’t know! Another good review 👊🏼
To be honest i never really got the chance to test it out as the reciever didnt connect to the alarms after the first outing and if i walked away from my rods od hand the reciever to one of my pals in the next swim ..... no need to apologise bud ..happy to help any way i can ..unfortunately iam not much help on this occasion
@@danielmcguire2789 yes its not bad at all in my opinion, ive not tested the range as such but it works as it should, has multi settings for loudness to just vibrate with colour indicators on the top to let you know what rod is going off .... my only issue is the buttons are raised and you can knock them ie when pulling hands in and out of the same pocket the receiver is in, but that said quite like the build quality as it feels solid i hope this helps bud
