I feel like newer Stays are given negative information about the situation and aren’t given the opportunity to realize how important it was for the group to originally debut as 9 and how important it was for the fans as well. As someone who has known the group since predebut 2017, I too as a fan had to endure the hardships w/ Stray Kids during those times and I don’t think it’s fair for newer fans to not understand the importance of Stray Kids’ history regardless of the situations. As a newer stay myself I can recognize why they might do this as seeing all the struggle SKZ went through after he left might make them want to erase him from everything to take away the hurt that happened during that time. I also recognize that some of us need to understand that two things can be true. You can choose not to like/mess with Woojin and that’s understandable but also understand how vital being a 9 was to their identity. When I watched the survivor show I rooted for them to be together as nine and I understood how important all of it was to them. But I can still also acknowledge that I don’t particularly like Woojin and be enthusiastically OT8

It's a sensitive topic to Stays and seeing the comments about Woojin just brings back all the pain again. I think the wound he left to SKZ and older Stays might never ever heal. However, I still hope we can at least tell new stays about him coz we can't deny the fact he used to be a member and once was the main vocalist of the group. Yes, we have different opinions about this matter but let's not keep this to new Stays coz his departure was part of Stray Kids and Stays history which admit it or not made us to an even more united and stronger fandom ready to support and protect this 8 freaking talented boys.

Jype terminated his contract due to personal reasons, and while I have my own opinions of the matter, I just want to make sure that the correct information is being conveyed. Just because the rumours were proven false doesn't mean something else didn't happen. Nevertheless, stray kids are 8 and Woojin is not in any way associated with skz anymore :)
