I wish that you would have shown in slow motion how they grab a branch when landing...they are beautiful, and I love all 4 species of Flying-foxes! Thank you for sharing this with us! God bless you!
I love me some squeaky puffs! And its funny how much videos of these winged floofs ive watched and Incan easily pick out when they're mating by the sounds 😆 🤣
Thank you so much for posting this video. I will check your channel to see if you have more videos on flying foxes and other Australian wonders. Keep them coming!!!
Why should you feel sorry? They don’t mind. Bat bodies are made perfectly for them to hang upside down, and they are very light which means blood will not rush to their heads. They can’t stand up or take off from the ground, and they need to be in the perfect position for taking off if they need to. Their feet have tendons in them, where when they hook onto something, like a tree branch, the tendon will pull down so the bats can grip effortlessly. Even a dead bat could still be hanging upside down. Hanging upside down is a completely casual, normal thing for batties.
@@raven7146 I understand that PSCHYO. It was meant as a joke, a satire, hence the smiley emoji. But it appears that my comment has given you the opportunity to take the stage and show us/off your knowledge of these creatures, either that or ur like some kind of a Savant.
@@merkabah8697 Ok? No need to be rude about it. I wasn’t trying to “show off.” I just assumed you were someone who didn’t know that bats naturally have to do this. I like to share my knowledge of bats so more people can learn how interesting they are. I like helping people who are curious about bats, learn more about them. I’m not trying to show off. You’re being unnecessarily rude tbh
Bats didn’t cause covid. It’s not a new virus, it’s existed for many years, and bats are not the reason for it. You also can not directly catch it from them.
@@raven7146, Thanks. Here in Amerika we were fed by the MSM that the "wet markets" in China were the source of the COVID and that dead bats were the source or the vector for the COVID.
They are such wonderful, beautiful, amazing creatures, and so deserving of any and all protection they can be given!

Agreed i like the different species of flying fox too, they are such wonderful creatures
Thanks for the video. otherwise a person would never see these amazing creatures. they are loud!! it takes serious skill to mate upside down.
Giving birth to a big bat baby upside down, pushing against gravity, is no mean feat either!
So adorable..thank you for sharing xx

I wonder if the COVID-19 is the Bat payback for their being hunted down and killed.
