Thank you for posting these videos! I’m a first year teacher starting on a campus with several deaf students and I am preparing my best for communicating with them!
I know these videos are old, but I have a non verbal child in class and we are learning sign language together so that he can communicate with me and vice versa and these videos have been super helpful!! Thank you so much!!
Just started using signs for behaviors. It really cuts down on the verbal exchange that can be so draining with disruptive behaviors. Thank you so much! New follower- your videos are so helpful!
I'm using these videos to learn more words for my asl class lol It's nice to learn it from a "I use these" perspective because I know they're helpful for day-to-day
Happy to see soo many teachers interested in ASL these days. 🙌🏽 My kindergarten teacher held my hands down so I couldn’t sign as I spoke, and would publicly shame me and tell me I’m “not retarded” (her words NOT mine) so I shouldn’t sign… that was life as a CODA in 1980.
Just love your videos! You are so creative and fun. I'd love to gift my daughter, a first grade teacher in her first year of teaching, a few aprons. Where should I go? I couldn't find any like yours at Amazon or Etsy, etc. We live in NYC. Thanks so much!
I am very interested in all pupil response where they all get to give responses to everything and im wondering about how asl can fit in. besides yes, no, me too I do arm signs for add subtract equals thumbs up down
Hey man, I just started watching your videos a couple hours ago because of your sign language and I'm hooked! Do your students and families watch your videos too? I was thinking of making videos for my own students too, but I get really nervous in front of the camera. I hope you'll keep posting!
Welcome to the channel! Yes my students and families sometimes watch. I have several students watching my videos from my current trip to Austria. I was also weird at first when I started making films. You gotta just start and you will get more comfortable!

We are using these videos to learn ASL as a homeschooler. Using words and expressions on an everyday basis really is helpful! Thanks.
