Most phone gamers don't understand what this phone is made for. The windows emulators are running steam now. The 24gb ram version is gonna be perfect for playing battlefield 5 and GTA 5 and other games on your steam library

I use my phone for literally everything and my screen time per day is probably unhealthy around 9 hours and I charge it once or twice a day cause I use it so much and health after 2 years is 95%. I play the heaviest games and my phone gets decently warm and battery is still almost brand new, but yes I agree updates aren't important for this device it does everything I need it to and more, I think people get bored or something and expect game changing updates every month which is cool but completely unnecessary
Avoid customer service for red magic are useless. When it comes to updates etc and security patches. It'll disable some of your access to certain things. Can't make payments via Google wallet anymore cuz the company still haven't updated the licence agreement with Google. Absolute garbage company. Was a fan not anymore
@gerrys1 no they don't. They did at one point then stopped. It states now that "your device doesn't meet security requirements" I've been in contact with them for almost 2 months now to no avail. I've told them the solution but they don't recognise or acknowledge the situation. They constantly ask the same question then state they'll work on it or pass the message onto the technical team then ask the same question again a few emails later. Got a full transcript of the conversation via email from them and still waiting. Device is just over 2 years old and no support whatsoever. In the long term it's bad. There's others with newer devices having similar issues

The red magic has a better battery 7k mah vs 5k mah and screen pixel density,but the rog goes up to 185hz where the red is 144hz, everything else is pretty much same same other than price the red magic is a good bit cheaper
note- this phone is only suitable for secondary device if you want good camera this is not for you i have iphone 14 pro max for that and get this for my secondary device
Completely untrue, on any device with any camera you get the best results with photo editing, I for one hate iphone photos they're way too processed and have unrealisticly high contrast, shadows are almost solid black and highlights are blown way out. My redmagic 7s 8s and 10 pro take amazing photos cause I know how to make them look more natural than an iPhones default. People who say the cameras on these phone are trash have no idea what they're talking about. BUT the front camera is actually not good at all but I don't use it for anything at all. I don't think content creators are going to buying this phone for selfies or selfie footage. The 50mp wide and ultra wide are incredibe sensors. And yes of course you can edit iphone pictures to look a lot better too but imo without editing the photos android normally has much better looking photos though the processing comes down to each individual company making the decision. Pro max 14 isn't the best for photography anymore. There are newer phones that do it better, includingthis one. This phone is better than the 14 pro max because it is 2 generations ahead. Better battery, screen, sound, camera setup, 8K, faster cpu, more RAM, and faster GPU.

I've been trying for two days. It's black listed by at&t trying to connect it. Verizon and all it's mvno say they will not put it online. T-Mobile says yes they will. I haven't tried yet but that's the next plan. Put it on T-Mobile. I will have to test it and see in an hour and a half.

yeh the resolution has no effect on the displays colours ect, but because the are midrange phones they generally opt for cheaper displays from BOE to keep the costs down. But to be fair its a gaming phone and gamers will generally prefer a higher refresh rate over a higher resolution within reason, and the resolution is enough for the size of the phone

@@bilalsezginer8364 I'd say ZTE seems to have ALMOST nailed the front camera, if u care abt having a decent camera then I'd say wait till the 11 Pro, or if u only care about pure performance u could upgrade to 10 Pro especially with that gigantic Si/C 7000mAh battery. But why would you? 8 gen 2 to 8 gen elite is pretty big jump but 8 gen 2 can do 120fps in almost any game except the usuals ofc (wzm, genshin, honkai etc...), but codm, pubg all these do 120fps. I'm sure ur battery is still good enough and so is the phone power etc, so unless ur phone is damaged in some way or form I personally wouldn't upgrade, but if u have the money to throw around you can ig. Though again, I PERSONALLY Don't suggest upgrading just yet.

Update. T-Mobile works and the service is far better then expected. It gets 5GA. 5G advanced. Idk. It's fast. Without mmwave.
