    The 2023 Ford Everest is the first new-generation SUV in its segment, and it clearly shows. Compared to its rivals that merely received a facelift, this new Everest is pushing the boundaries of tech, driving experience, and also usability. It's simply the best SUV in its segment that you could buy right now.

    You're a great reviewer bro! Clearly knowledgeable, natural and no cringey jokes, and great use of b-roll. Loved the segment where you had a full car while doing a review. More power and subs to you! Galing.

    When the Everest with the original T6 platform was developed, it was benchmarked against the Toyota Prado, not the Fortuner. This is why there is a big difference in refinement between the Fortuner/Montero against even the previous generation Everest. In Australia, the Everest is priced to compete against the Prado. The new Everest, with its continuous improvements in its chassis, interior, and performance, cements its position as the best all-around PPV; one might even say it belongs to a class above when compared to the current crop of PPVs. However, reliability, especially surrounding the 10-speed auto of the previous generation, is a question mark. The previous Ranger/Everest with the 10-speed suffered a few hiccups unexpected from a new car. Ford says they've fixed it, but only time will really tell. Curious to hear experiences from actual Ford owners and what they think about this.

      1 month in and so far I’m enjoying it a lot. Very modern and very comfortable. 10 speed transmission has been improved and changing of gears feels a lot more smoother now compared to as before (got to borrow a raptor a year ago). Also a member of fecp now and I haven’t seen anyone complaining about their transmission failing (7 months in now since the release of the new everest)- the biturbo engine is 4 years old now so we can say the bugs have been ironed out now. Maybe time will tell about the overall reliability but I am not that concerned because of the 5 years warranty and beyond that a lot of ford specialist shops has been popping around metro manila so that’s a good improvement compared to before so the aftermarket scene is improving a lot.

    Technically your v-log is well shot, you made use of natural lighting, your editing was good and the sound quality was crips. Content was well researched, I particularly enjoeyed that you showed a lot instead of telling. What I didn't enjoy which could possibly deter me from following your channel was the constant switching between two languages, pick one language and stick to it or make 2 videos.
    Otherwise great channel, keep it up.

Ugly if you put sunvisor n window shud have black tint n medium of front n back windshueld. Best design talo ang fortuner miux terra montero . It looks better than landcruiser LC300 or prado n pajero. Hi tech na instrumentation. Credit to ford design . Hindi nakakasawa .better than zenix .mukha kang bigtime . Better than rangerover 2022 or older n better than old lexus 570 .

      We usually don't talk about reliability since it's a very sensitive topic that isn't consistent with every owner. We do think, however, that since the engine is more-or-less carried over with some degree of engineering improvements, it should be more reliable now since it's already been in production for a long time already.

    Hi there! What about the shifting? Wala bang delays sa hi-way? Smooth shifting ba? Thank you.

    • @GoFlatOutPH
      @GoFlatOutPH  Рік тому

      Smooth and responsive, yes! It's much improved compared to the previous 10-speed, though we think that the 6-speed auto on the lower variants is better and probably even our favorite transmission among its competitors. We also currently have a Ranger on our hands with the 6-speed auto which is why we know it from experience.
      In the city though, it’s still smooth and responsive, but you can sometimes (but now rarely) catch the 10-speed off guard at moments when you’re braking and then suddenly the traffic starts moving again.

    • @GoFlatOutPH
      @GoFlatOutPH  Рік тому +2

      The comfort gap between the Everest and a unibody SUV like the Mazda CX-8 is much narrower at this point. We’d still prefer the CX-8 overall from a handling and ride comfort perspective, but the gap from the Everest isn’t as huge anymore.
      Basically, either vehicle is good on our books. It’s more of whether you need the ruggedness of a body-on-frame chassis and its diesel engine will be your determining factor whether you’ll pick the Everest or the CX-8.
