The 2023 Ford Everest is the first new-generation SUV in its segment, and it clearly shows. Compared to its rivals that merely received a facelift, this new Everest is pushing the boundaries of tech, driving experience, and also usability. It's simply the best SUV in its segment that you could buy right now.

You're a great reviewer bro! Clearly knowledgeable, natural and no cringey jokes, and great use of b-roll. Loved the segment where you had a full car while doing a review. More power and subs to you! Galing.
You should do this kind of review from now on. More personal and review than your traditional voice over reviews. Mas personal and hindi sya monotonous. Good job.
hahaha, natawa ko sa monotonous, true 🤣
When the Everest with the original T6 platform was developed, it was benchmarked against the Toyota Prado, not the Fortuner. This is why there is a big difference in refinement between the Fortuner/Montero against even the previous generation Everest. In Australia, the Everest is priced to compete against the Prado. The new Everest, with its continuous improvements in its chassis, interior, and performance, cements its position as the best all-around PPV; one might even say it belongs to a class above when compared to the current crop of PPVs. However, reliability, especially surrounding the 10-speed auto of the previous generation, is a question mark. The previous Ranger/Everest with the 10-speed suffered a few hiccups unexpected from a new car. Ford says they've fixed it, but only time will really tell. Curious to hear experiences from actual Ford owners and what they think about this.
1 month in and so far I’m enjoying it a lot. Very modern and very comfortable. 10 speed transmission has been improved and changing of gears feels a lot more smoother now compared to as before (got to borrow a raptor a year ago). Also a member of fecp now and I haven’t seen anyone complaining about their transmission failing (7 months in now since the release of the new everest)- the biturbo engine is 4 years old now so we can say the bugs have been ironed out now. Maybe time will tell about the overall reliability but I am not that concerned because of the 5 years warranty and beyond that a lot of ford specialist shops has been popping around metro manila so that’s a good improvement compared to before so the aftermarket scene is improving a lot.
Technically your v-log is well shot, you made use of natural lighting, your editing was good and the sound quality was crips. Content was well researched, I particularly enjoeyed that you showed a lot instead of telling. What I didn't enjoy which could possibly deter me from following your channel was the constant switching between two languages, pick one language and stick to it or make 2 videos.
Otherwise great channel, keep it up.
i always wait for your reviews. Its very comprehensive and detailed. All rhe questions asked are answered
Wow, so much nicer looking than the Explorer that we get here in the US. I wish we got this instead of the Explorer.
You can trade ur explorer for it,
Underated content creator. You deserve many views.
This everest is nice. But I'mma wait on the Mitsubishi/Nissan shared platform next year
Nahhh
May I ask if you enjoy driving this more over the Mazda CX 9? and sino po mas quite in terms of the cabin noise comparing it to cx 9
One of the most beautiful so far in mid SUV . This model the titanium 4x4 especially the black no need to add accessories just paint protection film marami na mura ngayon . Ugly if you put sunvisor n window shud have black tint n medium of front n back windshueld. Best design talo ang fortuner miux terra montero . It looks better than landcruiser LC300 or prado n pajero. Hi tech na instrumentation. Credit to ford design . Hindi nakakasawa .better than zenix .mukha kang bigtime . Better than rangerover 2022 or older n better than old lexus 570 .
Thank you for a good review. Did I just missed the consumption?
Comfy ba yung mga naka-upo sa 3rd row?
In many ways Ford may have upped the standards in the PPV/SUV segment in the Asia Pacific region. Can't wait to see though what Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Isuzu will do with their own counterparts. Very comprehensive review although Jaywalkur's take is more detailed though. 🚙🚙🚙
i cant wait for the jap's response, they usually up it in a very sensible way. kaka excite
You mentioned that the Titanium 4x2 has power folding 3rd row seats ? Is that correct? I thought that it is only available in 4x4 variant
Sorry, our mistake! Yes, the power-folding third row is only for the Titanium 4x4 and not the 4x2!
Ni-like ko agad. Definitely watching. 😍
do i need to wait for the new fortuner or this is ok?
@@choirhunter mazda cx8 or cx9 would be laughing at this everest if u think this car is not mediocre
@@tracy062 cx 8 and cx 9 are midsize CUV's therefore not comparable
Ang weird po ng tono niyo pag nagsasalita. Maliban don great review.
Why V6 is not around ? I love the V6 bi-turbo its advertise already.
Love this review!
Does it have ventilated and heated seats in front?
Best design and tech by far sa segment but in performance not even close sa muX and montero, those 2 are monsters kahit punong puno ang sasakyan.
Great review
sir kamusta sa expressway konwari 140 takbo?
Nice review next naman Toyota Sequoia please.
Twin turbo or Bi Turbo sir?
So which is comfier the Everest or terra based on your own opinion
We prefer it now over the Terra, since it also deals with body roll better than the Nissan and thus making it feel the most crossover-like in terms of ride and even handling.
I expected mas comfy ang everest, pero nung nakasakay ako ng terra. Sobrang layo. Parang nasa ere yung terra sa sobrang komfortable
How much pa Ito sir?
Bro question i saw a brown seat interior in australia titanium varriant.. do we have option like that in philippines?
Guys we have a 2017 Everest, the transmission is always having problems and I know im not alone. Does anyone have information if it they have atleast improved the durability of its components especially the transmission? This would be my last purchase for the next 10 years as prices is just getting ridiculous.
The 2023 Everest have a better transmission than the previous one which is more durable. But I'm not sure if it can last long after a year or so
practical people buy cars and basically pay for the engine, and you can never go wrong with classic japanese engine... toyota/nissan/mitsubishi/isuzu . i have a driver so passenger comfort is top priority for me... im going with terra for the better suspension and ergonomic seats, and of course durable engine
Wala bang manual ford everest
Good job you're becoming one my new car reviewer, better than most reviewers thast trying too hard to do their reviews in english! I think you need a partner maybe a tito para a different view, your last partner tbh doesnt didnt do good job but nervertheless keep it up!
Fortuner we think with the 2.8-liter 201-hp engine in the Q, LTD and GR-S is the most powerful throughout the rev range. Mu-X 3.0 in second, Terra and/or Everest in close third since the Everest Bi-Turbo has a different tuning now.
Sir tnx po Godbless
@@GoFlatOutPH Ford Everest bi turbo it has 210hp and 500nm tourqe
wow the best talaga, npaka sulit pa
Would you recommend it in terms of reliability?
pwede na
We usually don't talk about reliability since it's a very sensitive topic that isn't consistent with every owner. We do think, however, that since the engine is more-or-less carried over with some degree of engineering improvements, it should be more reliable now since it's already been in production for a long time already.
@@GoFlatOutPHmake sense, thank you.
Great review though, please continue making these kind of videos!
Just purchase a new Everest one day only won’t start after a day battery drain what’s wrong? Just asking
Sana next review is the 2022 Ford F150 Lariat
how's the sound system?
amazing
It's pretty good, though we love the Fortuner LTD and GR-S's JBL sound system more.
Hi there! What about the shifting? Wala bang delays sa hi-way? Smooth shifting ba? Thank you.
Smooth and responsive, yes! It's much improved compared to the previous 10-speed, though we think that the 6-speed auto on the lower variants is better and probably even our favorite transmission among its competitors. We also currently have a Ranger on our hands with the 6-speed auto which is why we know it from experience.
In the city though, it’s still smooth and responsive, but you can sometimes (but now rarely) catch the 10-speed off guard at moments when you’re braking and then suddenly the traffic starts moving again.
Hello, you can opt not to use all the 10 gears. May option to use less number of gears like 6 gears lang.
@@heyxx-c5p Wait what, what models have that feature?
@@testtestph to be clear I don’t have the everest but I think it shares the same transmission with the wildtrak 4x4. I just put in D (not M) then press the minus (-) button to manually decrease/increase the number of gears.
Edit: you can look up “progressive range select” for more explanation.
@@heyxx-c5p👍
bibili ako second hand pero lowered ko ng 2 inches
Bading ka po?
Dream car ❤
This or the Mazda cx8?
The comfort gap between the Everest and a unibody SUV like the Mazda CX-8 is much narrower at this point. We’d still prefer the CX-8 overall from a handling and ride comfort perspective, but the gap from the Everest isn’t as huge anymore.
Basically, either vehicle is good on our books. It’s more of whether you need the ruggedness of a body-on-frame chassis and its diesel engine will be your determining factor whether you’ll pick the Everest or the CX-8.
Appreciate the advice
Its nice but the waiting list is so long
Any idea on how long for the 4x4 variant?
Yup.. we waited almost 5 months. My 4x4 eve unit was released just last Nov.28..
Nice car kaya Lang after two days di na start Everest ko brand new; Sana’a Ford davao. Address nila

Woooowww!!!!!
Just this morning the best duvet you see referring won't start after an overnight park at wine barrel resort along bukidnon Davao Road. The car is very new a titanium Ford everest wala pang plate nr but I recorded its conduction sticker. Na low morale talaga young may arise imagine bagongbago tapes di andar . Iniwan na lang nila doon sigurd matagsl at mabagal and rescue. I wanted to help but limited fin alM ko .they try to jump start the car but to no avail. I told them that my unit is the same " kit nil and same color" I told them that last January a day after I purchase the car di rin nag start after my overnight parking fortunately malPit lang sa ford and area ko kaya rescue kaagad nila back to casa. I received no clear and convincing explanation they said isolated case but it happen again sa car na na witnessed ko this morning .... what now ford
Performance without reliability is worthless and that’s bugging Ford for a long time!
This now comes with a 5 year warranty so I guess they’re trying their best. I own a 2017 Ford Ranger Wildtrak and it has no issues at all.
Thing of the past na yan. Particularly, Everest is superb. Ride comfort and handling are great.
Reliability is placebo. All cars in the Market can reach u from point A to point B. I visited a shop lastime owned by a frend and I also see Toyota from Hilux to Innova
How is ford's after sales and parts availability? If that is yet to be addressed I'll think twice before availing a non Japanese vehicle
@@eg7167 its actually o k. Better experience for me to go to a Ford dealer than a Honda dealer. Ford Q. Ave is not the best but better than Honda Manila Otis based on experienced. Laus Ford group in Libis Pasig also know what they're talking about when I called for spare parts availability. Can't say the same for Honda Manila Otis. Honda Makati Magallanes is good though.
Pag ginawang scratch pad ng pusa seats mo ewan ko kung mka smile kpa haha
