Pakistani scientist invents device to distribute electricity to those who don’t have | Ameer Abbas
Associate professor Dr Hassan Abbas Khan is serving in electrical engineering department of Lahore University of Management Sciences. He has invented an off-grid electrification device. Which will help us to distribute the extra electricity to those who don’t have it. If we produce solar electricity, we may waste more than our need but through this device you can distribute the additionally produced electricity. I do not understand the use of sharing electricity without creating connection among the houses. This is expensive affair. When we already have on-grid network like KE, then it easy to share excess solar energy through net- metering and this is being done. What is new?

Asslam O Alaikum Ameer Abbas Sb, I watched your this vlog but honestly it was little bit disappointing. Dr. sb was talking all the terminologies those are deep in science but their audience is not educated segment, even they don't understand Urdu. So, in future you need to focus and explain to the guests that they should come out of lab environment and speak the language of their target audience. Jazak Allah

Reverse or net meter system is available in Karachi (KESC). With this you can share your extra electricity gained from solar system through grid. In this way your meter will ve reversed and ur bill reduced

Watched the interview. Might be useful for a limited viewership but not for common viewer who wanted to know how to share surplus electricity otherwise being wasted. I think as per law nobody can sell/share electricity except net metering with discos 🙏
