Sick and Staying Home, Blippi’s surprise!, Testing Out New Vlog Cameras

- We spent a full week at home recovering from a bug that the boys and I got. It felt mildly refreshing to have that space to be by ourselves and breathe again. Now that the world is really back to normal, pockets of pause like these are so welcome. I don’t know if it’s motherhood or age but my body has learned to crave for silence and rest.
We recovered well and even got a surprise message from Scottie’s favorite TV person! What a great feeling to see your child “meet his idols” in a way. I felt like the biggest stage mom! Does anyone know where we can get tickets to a Blippi Musical nearby? Or if there’s a way in the universe to meet Blippi in person? I’m manifesting! Anything to make my Scottie boo happy!
We’re also testing out new cameras today because mine is broken. Which one do you like best? Thank you so much to Macy’s Camera Shop for lending me their demo units to try out!

Comparing the Canon M50 and Sony AX53, it is very visible that the M50 (5:34) seems to have a better contrast and sharpness while the AX53 (5:50) is way more natural looking. Though I can't say for sure because I don't know what the actual color of your surroundings looks like, the M50 just makes the color of the surroundings looks nicer and brighter which suits your family vlog.
Also, framing and background blur was better on the canon, but the color looked a little saturated and maybe a little sharp. You could try taking the contrast and saturation down for this.
On the other hand, if you compare Canon M50 vs Sony ZV-E10 (6:18), ZV-E10's general color science is incredible so you don't have to worry about any of the settings esp. color grading or things like that. Skin tones looks much better and natural giving you that super UA-camr vibe. Despite the nice 4K footage and clear photos, lack of stabilization is a turning point for some people like me. I wouldn't recommend this if you're making a travel vlog because it's so shaky but for sit down videos, ZV-E10 is a great option.
Canon M50 - Colors looks nicer and brighter.
Sony AX53 - Realistic colors with a cinematic touch. Kinda dull looking in some angles esp. when the area is dark like 15:30-18:20.
Sony ZVE-10 - Colors are incredible but lacks in stabilization.

What I always learn from Kryz is that how she put first her family over her work. I may not mom yet but seeing her vlogs working and being mom with a toddler and infant is not an easy task. But Kryz is always parioritizing her kids and family even short period of time cuddling and playing with them, its a challenging but the joy that she receive with her three boys its priceless and therapeutic for her. She really show's that spending time with her kids and enjoying her company at this stage of their life,nga kanang savour the moment while she can have it. That feeling nga its so warm in the heart to feel the love and connection between mom and your children. Mka engon nlng ka sa imo self "unta one the day I could be like Kryz when I become mom 🥺". The conclusion here its really about how to balance life 💪
Oh my gosh, petition to fly out Blip to Cebu for Scottie's birthday or something. I will literally pay for his flight! 😭 it's not too impossible and I can tell Scottie really admires Blippi 🥺❤ would love to see him see Blippi in real life! 😫 that would be the cutest meet ever
