12/15 for me. Quite pleased with that. The Ravel and the Dukas fooled me into thinking they were film scores, because they both sound very modern. I knew a few of the pieces (Holst, Gershwin, Mahler) which made it easier.
11/15. The toughest ones were those I got wrong...3,5,14,15. It can be tricky...some composers writing in a "non-classical" style or more modern composers writing in a pseudo-classical style.
Carl Davis' Pride and Prejudice OST would make for a good quiz question. When you listen to it, you can't help but think he's intentionally mimicking Beethoven and Mozart (and occasionally Bach).
Thank you very much for the recommendations. You know, I was already sure that I used this soundtrack in the previous parts, but I checked - and it turned out that I didn’t))
12/15. I was doing great until the Mahler piece got me, only guessed the last one correctly after that. Still, A personal best score on this type of quiz.
9/15. I can't say which were the most difficult, but the easiest compositions for me were the Holst and the Gershwin. Take those out, and 7/13, yeah, that's just guessing.
11/15. Ravel was way ahead of his time, some modern compsers are very good at creating a classical athmosphere. The Dragonborn excerpt however is poorly chosen IMHO; no thematic or melodic material to go with, so impossible to guess. So if I don't count that one, my score was 11/14.
You're absolutely right about Dragonborn. I downloaded this piece a long time ago, but I constantly removed it from all the quizzes and left it for later, and finally, with a squeaking heart, I decided to use it to finally get rid of it)) I have several more of the same not very successful solutions and I also I move them all the time))
12/15 !

Ha, Wagner! The inventor of movie scores.
10/15: very tricky. I've been thinking about a similar concept: sacred or not. It can be equally tricky.
12/15 right! Best I've done in a while! Keep 'em coming!
10 / 15 good ole Gershwin
IKR?!
14/15, Brahms tricked me
Late Brahms is tricky if you're not into it. To be honest, if I didn't know it all by heart, I'd have guessed wrong
11/15 Gershwin and Brahms and of course Lawrence of arabia the easiest for me.
9/15

fullmetal alchemist brotherhood has a fantastic soundtrack
Agree. But for me the Attack on Titan soundtrack is definitely the best!
@@adiosmusictest this is true!
13/15. The two I got wrong were both Not.
7/15

10/15
Bad start. The Ravel fooled me and so did the Dukas.
14/15. Not that I got what each was. No 14 only one wrong.
Here you don’t need to know each work, you just need to distinguish it. Glad you have an almost perfect result!
