- In this video I take you through all the ins and outs of my build, what parts I used, and how I got to this point, its basically a dune only bike in what I use it for. Lots of riding at the imerial sand dunes in California. Glamis and ogilby, in addition to riding out at Gordons well and buttercup.
also ride out in St. Anthony idaho.

Killer looking build!!
REALLY REALLY LOVE IT. So sik...love the throwback 250r look just mean looking...nothing better looking than a dune focused build. I moved away from the dunes where I grew up riding. Your quad a simple just riding videos really help satisfy my home sickness. All in all super badass build. And in response to other comment airbox would be better but if not a filter sock would help out a bit. Anyway nothing better than cut or even better front fender delete. I always loved watching front suspension do what it does. Enjoy and stay safe. No better better place to ride in the world. People that don't get it have cleary never lived the dune life.

@@MFFilms103 Love it just wish it had kickstart & electric start. I keep it on a trickle charge the night before I take it out for a ride. Also bring a car outlet adapter & charger just incase the battery dies or needs some extra juice while I'm out in the mountains!
@@NouriGains I think you can add a kick start. Not sure about as a back up.

Nice quad you should add a little led light bar cuz you have no light and i saw that video where you needed a light.
I've thought about it. I'll look into possible adding one and post some videos about it.
04 and 05 have good spindles like the ltrs
Yeah they're not bad. I liked the project of doing the ltr spindles though.
How is that steering stabilizer on the dunes and would it be worth the money to get it for my YFZ 450? also I just ordered a full set of ITP sand star paddle tires. Thanks for the suggestion. Also is your bike Dino and do you know a place to go and get my bike Dino? Amazing bike looks awesome. Also, why did you go with a DASA exhaust and not with a HMF,FMF, or empire exhaust? keep up the great work with the videos. Hope you get a 100 subs.
If you can find a used precision they are worth the money. You can ride longer without getting as tired. Pretty pricey brand new. Join up with some groups on Facebook. People are always selling them.

Yeah I got my bike dyno tuned at racers edge in Tucson Arizona. Lots of different dynos you can take it to depending on where you live.
Dasa made the most power are easily repacked because they don't have rivets, I think they look good, and it's a small business which is always good to support. Pretty sure empire are very similar to Dasa.

Something like 11 front and rear. Don't recall honestly.

only run my self over like twice
No airbox? Dude......come on... and a k and n filter? Yikes. Take that filter off and look inside it. Airbox is a must in the dunes in my opinion
The 450 I have is exclusive to sand as well
8 ply filter not a k&N, run an outerwear. Good to go man! no one runs airbuses in the dunes.

Ever go to Dumont dunes? We average around 43mph on rides there
No paddles, itp holes shots on beads
Way better for duning, but I aways lose drags tho
Never been but I'd like to go! Interesting you guys run regular tires but whatever works.
@@MFFilms103 was raised on stock 250rs so it just felt natural to stay on reg tires when I got the 450. Tried paddles and they only want to go straight. Quadcross front and holeshot rear, 20 front 18 rear
