I have 4 Holmes air purifiers with the ionizer and they don't do squat. I just bought a Duracraft 260 air cleaner used at a thrift store, this thing is a beast. But it's too soon to tell as I just now plugged it in. It's the size and shape of a big shop vac. If it works, I will buy 3 more similar air cleaners and stack them on a metal rack floor to celing
Ionization is not...it is a natural quality of air without which you would not be alive... but some ionizers create ozone which can be harmful in high amounts.
