At 2:18 it’s not very clear but there’s an A and a D on the bassline overlapping. Since Layne was doing the E1s I think it’s safe to say he did the D1, also in the live performances, Geoff sings the A1 there(he does the B1 section and the A1 in 1 breath actually which is quite impressive)
The next videos will be very short...
the next video will actually be C#1-B0, they would have been very short otherwise
@@TM-pf1kp Ah, that makes sense...
Personally we are getting into the range where I believe most growls are to breathy. Subharmonics sound amazing in this range especially with the umph that can go behind that note.
Honestly I don’t think the D1 in Mr. Blue Sky is chest. I think he sang a chest slide down to A1 and a growl slide from C2 down to the D1. Than they blended the slides together and this is the result. This is just a theory, but I am 95% sure it‘s not chest.
That’s what he does in the live ones so I think it’s safe to say
@@Marcell0Bass yeah
Pretty sure mr blue sky D1 is growled
Don’t think the phantom D1 exists tbh
Nice work on these compilations tho
thanks very much! yeah the mr blue sky D1 is growled, i still think the phantom of the opera D1 exists because of this video: ua-cam.com/video/CF6ba73iH40/v-deo.html
Next video : Bass battle G-2 😂
xD
🤤
Them girls in the background trying to hit a high note every concert
The D1 sounds just like chest it has the Full sound of it and the robotic sound when geoff gets super low....
