The Northumbrian Mermaids

A group of midwives in Northumberland have a secret to their ongoing determination and positivity: sea swimming. Branding themselves the Northumbria Mer-mids, come rain or shine, they venture out to the Northumberland Coast and unwind in the waves. We joined them on a swim to capture the mermaids in action and discover the power the sea has on building friendships and stronger mental health.
