This is the first time we are seeing the Red Arrows in our own country! Over the summer of 2019 the Red Arrows, the RAF's aerobatic display team, were busy flying over North America as part of their biggest-ever tour in the region. For 11 weeks the Reds performed displays and fly-past's in more than 20 cities in the United States and Canada. This was such a fun and prideful video between our nations and shows just how real and alive our special relationship is! We enjoy the Red Arrows more and more each time we see them! We hope you enjoy this as much as we did. Thank you SO much for watching! @@TheNatashaDebbieShow o yea , I've just woke up that's my excuse 😅 lol. Can I recommend a video it's called - every country England as ever invaded visualised.
My friend is Damo’s wife who was mentioned having their baby when in Canada. The RAF were great - they immediately found a commercial flight that was flying to London an hour after the phone call. They met him at the airport and drove him to the hospital door. He got there with less than an hour spare and saw the birth of their daughter. Had a couple of days at home and flew back to join the team for the next air show. We live only 15 mins drive from the reds’ new base at RAF Waddington. We’re blessed to see them practicing all the time and saw the Saudi Hawks a few weeks ago too.
The Red Arrows were practising right over our house two weeks ago. It was amazing and my ten year old grandson, who is crazy about planes was so moved by it he burst into tears.
I used to get the Red Arrows and the Spitfire/Hurricane/Lancaster going over my old house. They were so low sometimes I could see the pilots. Unfortunately, now I don't get to see or hear them even when they come over my area.
The Red Arrows are incredible. Back in 80s my Dad was a RAAF Roulette (Aussie jet display team) and he to this day still says the Reds are the benchmark. Unlike the Red Arrows though they were part time their day job being instructors. He got the call up after #1 and #2 were killed in an accident during practice. They had a USAF exchange pilot on the team who later went on to be a Thunderbird. Like Dad quite a lot of ex Red Arrows and ex Roulettes ended up flying together based in Hong Kong. Heard lots of their cool stories having beers with them in my late teenage years.
The Red Arrows were based at RAF Scampton near Lincoln in Lincolnshire until earlier this year when this historic base closed down, former home to 617 Squadron The Dambusters, they didn’t move far to RAF Waddington also near Lincoln. Also near Lincoln is RAF Conigsby home of The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and a small museum which you can visit. Lincolnshire was known as Bomber County during World War Two due to the number of bomber airfields.
Scampton is now being considered to house foreign criminals who paid to cross the channel. Many flew from Scampton to stop a German Invasion , Now the Government has rolled over and excepted an Invasion. What was it all for,
Would love to hear your stories. All my family were RAF including my grandparents I would love them to see alwewas my raid (welsh for granddad) was a founding member of the RAF
The RAF Black Arrows ( 111 Squadron ) aerobatic display team formed in 1956, flying all black Hawker Hunter aircraft. They still hold the world record for looping 22 aircraft in formation at the Farnborough Airshow in 1958, the photo used to hang in the Pilots crew room at RAF Wattisham. I was part of the groundcrew of 111 Squadron from 1971 - 1974 ( English Electric Lightning F3 )
My niece lives at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, her husband is an engineer with the RAF, the Red Arrows are now based at Waddington, after their longtime home Scampton was closed. Earlier in the summer he went to Croatia with the Reds for 3 weeks, she regularly sends me videos of them from her garden doing displays above the base 😊 such a lucky lady 😂 I’ve seen them 4 times performing over the years at airshows & they are amazing 🤩
I saw the red arrows when I was younger and it was awe inspiring seeing them fly over the great States of America fills me with pride again sharing the same colours.🇬🇧💗🇺🇲
I've been lucky enough to see the red arrows many, many times over the years . They are just fabulous, as are all the formation teams all over the world.
I’m so proud to say I live 10 minutes away from their base at RAF Waddington. We see them in the sky so regularly that we definitely take their presence for granted!
Brit here, I've seen the Reds quite a few times and yes, they are impressive! I was at one air show where the announcer stated "Ladies and gentlemen, the Red Arrows". Pause, where are they then? Thunderous roar as they come in behind us, so low they nearly part your hair. They used to fly very low and in fact I was at an airshow in Brighton where one flew so low it clipped the top of a yatch mast and went on to crash in the sea. NB: I've been to the Sataes about 20 times for work and pleasure, all over the place and can say I have received nothing but courtesy and generosity. Warm feelings. Thanks for your lovely show.
Love the Red Arrows. They are actually putting on a show this weekend at the Blackpool Air Show. Its a good lil documentary too, sadly the channel , Forces TV, who did it shut down last year. They used to have lots of modern military related shows/news aswell as old shows like MASH and old movies like The Dirty Dozen. Now they just have a page on here covering news

Hi from Lincolnshire, UK, this is so great seeing this, feel even more grateful to have them based in Lincoln, seeing them everyday practicing is fantastic. Glad you all enjoy them.

As always love you guys. I'm British but have worked for the U.S. Air Force at RAF Lakenheath now for five years and you both make me feel so proud of both our great nations......so thank you
Just look at the way they parked the planes. Even that was poetic. Every time I see the Red Arrows, it brings a tear to my eye, and my heart is ready to explode with pride.
Sensational video. I love squadrons like that. I’m pretty certain all western countries do. Would be epic to see the teams from all allied nation perform a display together. Can you imagine??. Outstanding job once again girls. Really do appreciate the effort!.
I saw the Red Arrows over Niagara Falls. The Snowbirds are here fairly often. The Snowbirds and the Thunderbirds Performed have performed at the Niagara Falls International Airshow.
Hiya ladies, another brilliant video, thank you so much for your genuine love and respect for not only our British forces but all who are serving or have served in any of the world's services. I am very proud of our very special relationship and close bond we have you guys over there in the US. My dad served in the Royal navy during the second World War and he told us, the family,,,when he he and thousands of others left new York on board HMS Queen Mary to return home to the UK, there is actually video footage of this. I'm from Weston super Mare and the red arrows are very common there, doing their shows over the beach and see, ever since I was a baby I've seen them. They are truly amazing. And I agree how lovely it is that our relational nations share our experiences with each other as not just great allies but close friends and family. I think the majority if us Brits see the U.S as our big brother. I love Americans, love America and makes me so proud to have as close relations that we do.
Big thank you America for the welcome you gave to The Red Arrows & all the R A F Surport teams & to let us show you what we can do . Lets say The Red Arrows & The Blue Angels are Damm good display teams

The Red Arrows just flew over my home yesterday (12/August/23) a special treat for visitors to Edinburgh, especially those at the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. J
Where I lived in England was just 5 miles from Little Rissington , Gloucestershire where the Red Arrows were based . They used to practise over and around our house. This was back in the 1960s. Now they are based at RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire but have had several bases over the years. Think of how lucky we were to have so many free displays when they were practicing their skills. Thank you for showing this video. You ladies are the best. Keep up the Natasha and Debbie show. xxx
The U.K. has had display teams since the 1920s some of the most notable are the Blue Diamonds, firebirds, pelicans, yellow jacks, black arrows and finally the red arrows
We have got the Red Arrows at the Bournemouth air show again this year. I remember when Flt Lt Jon Egging lost his life when his Hawk crashed in 2011 over Bournemouth (south coast of England). There is a memorial in his honour overlooking the beach. I am a PC based at Bournemouth and get to police the air show, it’s hard not to look up to the sky when they are flying overhead! ❤
Because of watching your really interesting shows, I am just full of pride of the small country that I live. Thank you, thank you, and even more thank you's girls. Live long and prosper. Paul.
Thankyou ladies. It's always nice to see other folks' reaction to the 'Scampton Darts'. I'm now over 60, and can't remember a time before the Red Arrows. As much a part of British History to me as Queen Elizabeth II. God Bless 'em.
I just watched the Red Arrows perform this afternoon in Blackpool. I'm in my 60's now, and they still make me feel like I felt the first time I saw them aged 4 in 1966.
A friend of mine was a Submarine commander - I know thats basically the polar opposite of a stunt pilot but... you really do realise just how different to you and me these guys are.... and most of them are small - the ones that run battleships, subs, fly planes... they're short in stature. If you stood next to them in a bar... you wouldn't notice. But.... they run some of the most advanced military equipment on the planet. The people in the various militaries are just... different... to us. Total respect and admiration to them. I get stressed over a spreadsheet not loading.... they get stressed over a 6G maneuverer.
I've seen the Red Arrows perform more times than I can remember and they never fail to thrill and impress. I've met one of the pilots who was a member of this particular team on more than one occasion, and he is one of the coolest professionals you could ever come across. Very modest about his achievements and, in no way, drawing attention to himself. That, to me, is the epitome of a person at the top of his game. I'm lucky enough to live near the coast where the Arrows perform every year and they have used the farm I live on as a way point, as has the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight with the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane. You don't hear them coming until they arrive and they're gone almost before you see them. Exciting!
Another fantastic reaction girls, love the new toy Debbie has 🤣 Red Arrows always pull in the crowds. When you visit the UK next year you might even get to see them live. Plenty of air shows going on over July and August but never sure which ones get the Red Arrows. Love, hugs and prayers from Sussex, UK GB ❤US
Yes it was a working visit but I imagine it was a brilliant and memorable experience. Those tours are once in a lifetime and not many get to go on them so you become part of a unique club. In the forces another busy night often means another night of getting smashed but not in this case when they had to fly the following morning.
There is an amazing move by the Red Arrows employing 3 aircraft from the team. Two of them, with smoke trailing form the shape of a heart, with a third aircraft "piercing" the heart.😊
A friend of mine used to work for BAe Systems, selling the Red Arrow's aeroplane (the BAe Hawk) around the world. As part of his job, he worked closely with the Red Arrows (one pilot lived at his house for a short period) and one day he posted some pictures on Facebook where he actually got to go up in one of the aircraft (I don't think it was during a display but he still enjoyed himself).
I grew up in Lincoln which is where their home base is and where they do a lot of their training and practice. Was always a thrill seeing them do low passes, especially when you where driving into the city with the cathedral on the horizon.
The Red Arrows are always the main attraction at any air show in the UK, where they display. Have been fortunate to have seen them displaying at the local air show several times and it never gets old.. :) I hope you'll have a chance to get to see them one day.
The red arrows have been around since 1965 as a 9 ship team, but prior to that the RAF had a tem named the Black arrows a 16 ship team flying Hawker Hunters. They also broke a world record in 1959 looping 22 Hawker Hunters in formation, a record that still stands.
Loved this video! I have been to many airshows in the past to see them and I always get emotional. When the red arrows fly over Buckingham palace within the next minute they are flying over my house spectacular! It was great to see the special relationship with America and seeing the pilots having fun and behind the scenes was super! 🇬🇧❤🇺🇸
It really never gets old, I’m 36 and have been watching the Reds since my first air show when I was 6. I still get excited like the 6 year old I was when I see them
I think this is one of the things i love most about being in the RAF Air Cadets (RAFAC) is that i have been able to meet all the red arrows and have great conversations with both them and the blues and seeing them being met with open arms made is something that makes both the RAF and the Air Cadets so proud to know these pilots
I have about 5 RAF bases within 60 miles from me. See the red arrows quite often flying over. Along with other military aircraft. Closest base is 5 miles away from me. It's brilliant to just sit out and watch them. Can also hear them training with weapons too.
Over the years, I have seen all the national air display teams and the Red Arrows are simply the BEST!! Lucky for me, they quite often come over our house on the way to and from displays.
Fantastic video, I love the Red Arrows and have seen them many times, I love fighter jets and used to travel nearly 200 miles on my day off to go with my dad to RAF Lakenheath to watch the jets. He has now sadly passed but it is a memory that will stay with me always
I've seen them so many times and love them every single time. They used to close the Sunderland airshow every year on the Saturday. They were amazing and when they open the start of the great North run over the Tyne bridge is a great sight to see and loved watching out for them flying over my house on the way.
We had our yearly Airshow, here in Wales, Uk! Without fail, Red Arrows made there amazing appearance, and spectacle show. Which brings in thousands every year to our towns, Every year without fail, 1000% wow factor
Seen the guys flying a couple of times in the UK and their displays are absolutely amazing. People tend to forget support teams in all aspects of life. I worked in the NHS and Estates & Facilities were often overlooked as a vital part of a hospital. So miss our local airshow, but the last one ended in tragedy with 11 lives lost due to a plane crash on the busy main road near the airport at Shoreham-by-Sea. I was there and it was a moment I will never forget. Walking home, people were calling me, who knew I was there, to make sure I was safe. I saw the fireballs from a distance, but knew it was bad news, due to the location. It was right at the intersection and I just knew people would be standing there and traffic lights would mean cars would be stanionary.
Thanks for reacting to our great Red Arrows, love your enthusiasm. My daughter loves aviation, she has built many planes, including the red arrows, wish I could show you them. She also loves to take their pics and wants to be an aviation photographer one day.
I live where the Red Arrows are based and I get the joy of hearing and seeing them fly most days, it's always a treat, I will never not geek out about having them on my doorstep!
I used to go to the Sunderland air show every year and I can honestly say I had goosebumps at every show. Some of the planes and helicopters would make your heart vibrate in your chest. Gutted they aren’t doing it anymore 😢
Just watched the Red Arrows over Whitby last Sunday, great air show. I trained as a Nurse in the PMRAFNS in the late 80s and this Red Arrows did a fly over on our passing out parade, gives me goose bumps and great memories when I see them. Great to see you enjoy watching them.❤️
Love the Red Arrows , l appreciate how many hours of practice it Takes to gain the skills to be a Red and how much time they put into getting their displays perfect( l live near their old base Scampton and the new one Waddington Lincolnshire.. they practice a lot😁). I think the whole uk fills with pride when they are apart of our National celebrations and at the many Air shows they display at . It is great to see the Arrows in the USA 🇺🇸 helping to strengthen the love, bond and respect our Nations have . Thanks for another great show , 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
I saw the Red Arrows live many years ago in the UK. They arrived from behind the stands at was probably 1-300 feet but frankly it felt like they were closer than a barber at work. I was very glad not to be 1 inch taller. A huge jet scream from nowhere and then red, white and blue smoke in the greatest fireworks display you've ever seen. BTW, since you referenced them in the video, the Patrouille de France were there too and excellent. Definitely worth a watch.
Saw plenty of the Red Arrows in my childhood, operating out of RAF Leuchars. Plus many airshows following that. Awesome sight to see. Great video girls, thank you :)
I'm from Newcastle, UK (I've seen your amazing reactions to my city, and Northumberland), but my cousin is a doctor in the US Navy and has been stationed many times at Miramar and also North Island on Coronado. It was great to see the Red Arrows there!
Used to see them going through their routines above us in Lincolnshire. I was usually sat in the back garden with my camera, ready for the latest free show. Great to watch. You could even visit RAF Scampton and sit in one of the Red Arrows.
The best place to see the Red Arrows in the UK is on the day of the Great North Run. I was crossing the river towards the finish line to meet my wife in a river taxi when a Singleton Red Arrow came up the river towards us. The pilot went into a shallow dive and pointed the areoplane straight at us! Everyone on the boat collectively went oops, then cheered as the pilot flew past. Thankyou for the film.
Natasha you said you wished you could wave back. I have when i was a teenager i had travelled down from Scotland to spend a week with my sister. She lived up the hill in St Leonards on Sea above the bo peep signal box. One day she called me up to her bedroom and opened the red arrows were flying a display over Hastings a short distance away they flew out over th sea and turned flying low along the railway line for the flypast over the town. As we watchedth first plane flew past almost level with the open window we waved at each one as they passed and each pilot returned our wave i felt so special that day.
There's a documentary called Danger Men Red Arrows, American, Canadian, and British Military display teams all meet for the first time, it's just amazing, best Red Arrows video out! The only problem is, it's been broken into 6 separate videos on UA-cam, around 6 minutes each, but if you watch the last 2 parts, 5 & 6, those are the parts where they all come together, the other parts 1, 2, 3, & 4 are mostly about the logistics of getting across the Atlantic ocean, which is still good. Keep up the good work ladies, I'm always watching, from Yorkshire x
The Red Arrows were recently at an RAF base I live at (no military links, they just sold some of the married quarters a few years ago) but I had to work so could only watch them when they flew past the hospital I work at a few miles away.
Just watching your show (one of many I've watched) and thought I'd let you know that after being out picking up stuff in my car, just got home and heard this jet coming over and it was a Hawk ... and it was definitely RED!! ... So probably one of the guys going or returning solo to or from somewhere! Quite appropriate that this popped up whilst browsing UA-cam this evening. 👍👍👍 I live in North Yorkshire about a mile from the end of Linton on Ouse runway where they used to do the early part of fast jet training with Tucanos. Sadly, the base is now closed and all training is done over at Valley in North Wales. I don't half miss the daily low level flyovers of singletons through to formations of up to five.😢😢😢

The U.K. has had display teams since the 1920s some of the most notable are the Blue Diamonds, firebirds, pelicans, yellow jacks, black arrows and finally the red arrows
Paul.
Red arrows at Blackpool airshow today
Really enjoyed that girlies, love the fed arrows. I watched this programme but enjoyed watching again. Well done girlies ❤
Thanks so much!
Just to give you a clue how low they fly sometimes, when in formation years ago, one clipped the mast of yacht in Brighton!
Yes our Blue Angels & Thunderbirds do the same
Thankyou ladies.
Loved it girls. It reminds me of watching Oz's Red Arrows while at a desert race meet at Birdsville. Just brilliant.
My grandfather built the Queen Mary in Scotland all by himself. Well that was how it sounded to a very young grandchild. 🤣🤣🤣
i live near a navy base in the uk, and i see the red arrows show once a year at my window, its still so cool everytime.
Heroes all of them. A big respect for all the people involve. Big hug mujeres hermosas.Always looking forward for the next video.
Exciting!
I'm from the uk and found this video very interesting. Thanks guys ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Immense pride in the Red Arrows and the Raf,hits my emotions everytime ❤🇬🇧🇺🇸❤
There is an amazing move by the Red Arrows employing 3 aircraft from the team. Two of them, with smoke trailing form the shape of a heart, with a third aircraft "piercing" the heart.😊
Love your appreciation of my amazing country and the friendship and loyalty between our respective countries xxxx
Seen these guys loads. Makes me proud to be British 🇬🇧
I still get excited like the 6 year old I was when I see them
Fantastic video and reaction. It's tough to watch without a tear in the eye. Big love to you guys and the Canadians from the UK.
I think this is one of the things i love most about being in the RAF Air Cadets (RAFAC) is that i have been able to meet all the red arrows and have great conversations with both them and the blues and seeing them being met with open arms made is something that makes both the RAF and the Air Cadets so proud to know these pilots
The red arrows are usually at Bournemouth airshow every year where I now live, we have seen them many times and they are always amazing!
I have about 5 RAF bases within 60 miles from me. See the red arrows quite often flying over. Along with other military aircraft. Closest base is 5 miles away from me. It's brilliant to just sit out and watch them. Can also hear them training with weapons too.
I’ve been filming the red arrows at an air show last weekend, got some incredible footage ❤
The love for us Brits has made me so proud its made me cry lol ❤
This weekend is the Bournemouth air show. The red arrows usually fly on most of the days of the show depending on the weather.
We had our yearly Airshow, here in Wales, Uk!
Without fail, Red Arrows made there amazing appearance, and spectacle show. Which brings in thousands every year to our towns,
Every year without fail, 1000% wow factor
Lovel the arrows, I have watched a lot of thier shows in the UK. Got to be one of the best aerobatic display team in the world.
We are very proud of them, lovely to see the mutual respect from across the pond ❤
It's lovely that our nations can share this.
I am English and grew up watching them going over my house when they performed at the Farnborough Air Show. Absolutely brilliant.
I am born and bred in Lincolnshire. Not only do we have the Red Arrows, we have the BBMF. Proud to be English.
Great to see you enjoy watching them.❤️
Living in the city that the red arrows and the famous battle of Britain memorial flight call home is just amazing see them practice ever day
Love the Red Arrows , l appreciate how many hours of practice it Takes to gain the skills to be a Red and how much time they put into getting their displays perfect( l live near their old base Scampton and the new one Waddington Lincolnshire.. they practice a lot😁).
They just flew over my house on their way back from an air show. Blackpool, I think. Rattled the bloody windows.
I can remember watching them practice over Minchinhampton Common when they were based at RAF Kemble and RAF Little Rissington
What a wonderful memory!!!
I think you two are wonderful. If there were more like you the world would be a much better place. X
The Red Arrows were recently at an RAF base I live at (no military links, they just sold some of the married quarters a few years ago) but I had to work so could only watch them when they flew past the hospital I work at a few miles away.
The red arrows live near me, when I was at school you could often see them practising from the class room window.
I live in North Yorkshire about a mile from the end of Linton on Ouse runway where they used to do the early part of fast jet training with Tucanos. Sadly, the base is now closed and all training is done over at Valley in North Wales. I don't half miss the daily low level flyovers of singletons through to formations of up to five.😢😢😢
Loved this, the Reds just flew over my house today on the way to a local airshow. Always a very proud Brit.
