Looks like the probabilistic union of two fuzzy set. Sum of fuzzy set should be define differently.
Hi there is a minor mistake in comparison in bounded sum 1and 1.4 is 1 but it should be 0.4 because fuzzy values lies between 0 to 1.

What if we have different number of elements in both the set? and in Sum & Bounded sum are we looking for the common lower value just like in Product?
Yes, we can only use elements with same/common lower values✌

Okay so for the first question - what if we have different number of elements in both sets. this would mean that there is some element in one set which isnt there on other. so in that case we consider only that in sum and bounded sum. for more clarity heres a link to the website where you can see that example - www.computing.surrey.ac.uk/ai/PROFILE/fuzzy.html#operations
And for question 2 yes we are looking for common lower value only to perform the operations.

please make explain the concept rather than just writing the formula and calculating corresponding value. i guess if someone understand the logic behind the formula then they implement them by their own. i guess u are getting what i'm trying to point out.
