Love your videos, you are one of the few channels for inline figure skating 😭❤️ Can you explain the difference between inside and outside eagles? Thank you!!
Inside eagles use inside edges and outside eagles use outside edges on both feet. Inside eagles tend to have you leaning into the circle while outside eagles lean outwards if that makes any sense?
Hi! I was a figure skater when I was young, younger, whatever.... And I began watching your videos cause Ive just returned to occasionally skate and in the passion of it I also bought inline skates to make a try, and there is where I found you. And I like your videos a lot! Spread eagles... were my Big ENEMY when I did skate... I tryed it many times, coaches made me train it, cause it always looks nice on competition, but I could never do it, nor ina bauer. And... now I want to try it again, I mean, is it really impossible for some poeple or there's a chance? I don't know it for sure, but I'm so determined! So I'll will try your method. How many time people needs to do it? some of you know? how many time you needed?
Hi, Hazook. Good tutorial of Spread Eagle!! I looked for it and I found it. Fun from Japan, Sapporo city. I also have my channel and am trying Spread Eagle as you teach me.
Spread eagles aren't particularly hard... but God damn if my hips and knees aren't flexible enough for this! I'm defibitely gonna be trying out these stretches. Once I'm in the position it's fine, but I trip getting into the position a lot XD. Also, the knee pain is real 😔
The knee painnnn🥲 The entry was the hardest part for me to learn, I remember I kept stumbling over my feet and at one point I couldn't make myself practice it because I was so scared of falling.
@@Hazook I once tried to do a spread eagle while going a little too fast around a curve. Good news, I figured out how to do an interesting 2 foot spin that day (my spread eagle was not spread enough). Bad news, I went solidly FLYING from the momentum after a couple spins. I didn't touch the spread for a little bit after that XD. And I hear you with the knee pain, because of my duck footedness growing up (which I've corrected but has left me with flat feet), my knees grew a little wonkily so certain things on skates hurt a lot. I don't know if it's just me, but skating backwards puts a lot of pressure on my knees and hurts them quite a bit
