As a recovering Jax addict, I find that doing a little Claw helps reduce my urges to use Jax. The doctor recommended that I use only one Claw per deck, but sometimes when I'm feeling desperate I'll use two, or even three Claws. It gives me hope to see others struggling with Jax addiction beat the odds and become successful Spire slayers.

As someone who doesn't regularly watch this dude and clicked specifically because I thought he made a Claw deck work in A20, I feel cheated :(
Hah, silly Jorbs, playing this game for almost 2k hours and didn't realised thats it wasn't a "Claw deck" that gave him a win, it was a "Double Claw deck" which is twice more powerfull.
It's not a Claw deck until you get the collector bonus
He has like 2200 hours at this point

At about 37:00 someone asks about the portal event. Do you think that event should have more options? It kind of sucks that most of the time it's just a do nothing event. Maybe the portal picks a random relic you can toss in for another random relic. Maybe it can allow you to travel to any room after it like with the wing boots relic. I'd prefer something to be added to this event so I'm not just hitting the leave button 90% of the time.

hey, jorbs, what's this memey card images you have on some of your cards like Meteor Strike? Is that a mod?
after you beat the heart with a character you unlock the ability to toggle beta art on/off for individual cards for that character. that's the beta art for those cards.

Question: what is his 'subscription phrase' he always says when someone subs? I have followed Jorbs on YT for a while but never got a background on what he says. "And a boom boom shoe" is how I hear it. What's the context here?
TPark27 agbomosho or whatever is a city in Africa that Jorbs could not pronounce while playing Xcomm. Him and chat pulled it up in Google to have the weird robo-voice pronounce it and it became a meme.

can anyone explain why he doesnt use defrag at around 18:20? Even when he had the energy to do so? Seemed like free extra damage to me
Late to the party here, but the Chosen's Hex debuff adds junk to your deck every time you play a non-attack, so it's a bit of a gamble. Here there were only 4 cards in the draw pile so the Daze would've definitely been in the next hand, quite likely blocking a card that would be more useful than the ~6 damage from extra focus.
I think you forgot to mention claw in the title

Nicholas Layton it only scales if you draw it. Claw decks have a horrible win rate at higher ascensions because they’re slow and have too low of an impact. Obviously it’s a card that worked in Act 1 fine but it won’t get the job done in Act 3.
